Weather Update: The latest weather update from IMD is out and a widespread rain alert has been issued for South India. Heavy widespread rain is anticipated in parts of Kerala-Mahe, while Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir, and Ladakh may experience fairly widespread rain or snow along with thunderstorms. In addition, isolated rain with thunderstorms is expected in the Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Punjab, Coastal Karnataka, and Lakshadweep.
Scattered rain accompanied by thunderstorms could occur in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, and South Interior Karnataka. Furthermore, isolated rain with thunderstorms is in the forecast for Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat Region, Konkan-Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, and North Karnataka.
Delhi
The national capital will remain partially cloudy in the morning. However, from thereon, the cloud cover will get dense until the afternoon. There are chances of slight drizzles as well. For today, the maximum temperature will be 35 degrees while the minimum will be 22 degrees with humidity at 31%.
Mumbai
Mumbai will predominately remain sunny the entire day. These weather conditions will continue in the region for the upcoming week as well. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 78%.
Chennai
IMD has forecast that Chennai will experience showers in the morning and the sky will remain mostly cloudy from thereon. However, scattered thunderstorms will lash the region once again in the afternoon. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 80%.
Kolkata
Kolkata has been predicted to remain mostly sunny today. The day will remain mostly warm & humid. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 24 degrees with humidity at 67%.
