Weather Update: The Meteorological Department reports that on February 12, rain is expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim. In addition, rain is expected from February 10–14 in East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh. The India Meteorological Department predicts that Delhi NCR’s morning would be primarily clear with occasional mist. It is expected to drop to 6 degrees Celsius by the weather office. Northeast breezes are predicted to replace the usual northwest winds. As a result, February 12 in the Delhi suburbs is expected to see rain, and February 13 is probably going to see some light rain in the city.

According to IMD Predictions, a trough extending from south interior Karnataka to west Vidarbha in lower tropospheric levels will cause light to moderate rainfall that is scattered to isolated, along with lightning, isolated thunderstorms, and gusty winds that can reach 30 to 40 kmph. Activity is expected to occur over West Madhya Pradesh, Odisha; East Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh on February 12; Bihar, on February 13 and 14, and Gangetic West Bengal, on February 14. On February 11th, 2024, there is also a chance of light, isolated rainfall over Odisha Telangana and over southeast Uttar Pradesh from February 12th to 14th. On February 12, 2024, there is a high probability of isolated pockets of cold wave conditions over Himachal Pradesh and East Rajasthan.
