Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) stated on Saturday that Cyclone Biparjoy weakened on Friday and is anticipated to weaken even more into a "Depression" in the next six hours. As the cyclone's effects last, meteorologists had predicted that Cyclone Biparjoy's remnant might aid the monsoon's march over east India, which is now experiencing a severe heat wave. The monsoon has been moving slowly due to the lack of any meteorological systems over the Bay of Bengal. According to them, "Cyclone Biparjoy also affected the southwest monsoon current."
