Weather Update: IMD warns of heavy rainfall alert for the next two days in these states

Weather Update: Across the nation, the monsoon’s second phase has begun. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning indicating that there may be severe rainfall in numerous areas. Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, and Telangana are expected to see heavy rainfall during the next two days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Additionally, due to heavy rains in Uttarakhand, an orange alert has been issued.

Drizzle in Delhi

The parts of the nation’s capital Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh will continue to be gloomy, according to IMD. In addition, a light drizzle is possible. Delhi today will have a minimum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 36 degrees Celsius. Delhi is now experiencing a scorching summer. The rainy season has diminished and is anticipated to resume after August 15.

Numerous Rajisthan districts have received alerts

The capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur, has received a rain alert from the meteorological department today. In about one and a half dozen districts of Rajasthan, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert. Both a little light rain and a little heavy rain are possible. Additionally, 1-2 locations have received a warning for strong to very heavy rain during this time.

In various districts of Odisha, it will rain heavily

According to IMD, there will be heavy rain in numerous areas of Odisha. At several locations in the Bargarh, Sambalpur, Angul and Keonjhar districts, a warning of more than 204 mm of rain has been issued. On Wednesday, the department issued an orange alert for Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Angul, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bargarh districts and is predicted to see extremely heavy rainfall.

Watch out in Bihar and Jharkhand

In addition, there is a chance of significant rainfall in various parts of Bihar and Jharkhand. In some areas of Latehar, Lohardaga district including Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi, rain and thunderstorms are possible.
