Weather Update: Extensive rain or snow with thunderstorms could be experienced in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir, and Ladakh. Lakshadweep may have widespread rain and thunderstorms in the meantime. Also likely to get widespread rain and thunderstorms are the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala, the South Interior of Karnataka, and Mahe.

Sub-Himalayan West Bengal to North Interior Karnataka

Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Punjab, West Rajasthan, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, and North Interior Karnataka could receive isolated showers and thunderstorms. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana, on the other hand, are anticipated to see isolated rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms. Additionally, in some parts of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana, maximum temperatures may exceed 40°C.
