Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya will experience ongoing heavy to extremely heavy rainfall until Monday. The IMD issued an advisory on Sunday regarding this matter. However, UP, Delhi, and Haryana are projected to remain hot & humid.
In the upcoming five-day period, there is an expectation of light to moderate widespread rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning in East and Northeast India. The remainder of the country is projected to witness mostly moderate levels of rainfall activity over the same duration. Additionally, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has foreseen hot and humid conditions for the following three days in Kerala and the adjacent state of Tamil Nadu.
Delhi
As per the latest forecast, Delhi is forecast to remain mostly sunny the entire day. The conditions will get intense as the day will proceed, no change is likely for this week. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 70%.
Mumbai
The city and its suburbs are projected to remain mostly cloudy and receive light rains throughout. No relief is on the cards for now in the region. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 84%.
Chennai
In a change of events, Chennai has been forecast to remain engulfed with clouds the entire day. However, the chances of rain are less, the city will largely remain pleasant. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 76%.
Kolkata
Continuing relief, Kolkata has been projected to remain cloudy. However, there is a likelihood of drizzles but the day will mostly remain dry. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 78%.
