Weather Update: The IMD predicted the rise in temperature for coastlines to pilgrimage sites across Odisha today in regard to heatwaves. It also predicted hot weather in Kerala, areas of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Odisha. There is a good news for Delhi residents as the Meteorological Department reports that there is a possibility of moderate rainfall on April 13. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert due to an expected two days of heavy snowfall and rainfall across Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh. Furthermore, the meteorological service has forecasted mild to moderate precipitation across Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and few parts of Maharashtra. Subsequently it is likely to have cloudy conditions in the capital city of Bihar(Patna) and U.P(Lucknow) as well as nearby areas.

According to IMD, there is a possibe chance that areas of Andhra Pradesh, few parts of Karnataka and Kerala may see hot environmental conditions. There is a good chance of thunderstorms, dust storms with lightning. There is a possibility of squalls that can reach 50–60 kmph, and hailstorms in certain remote areas of Rajasthan. Stormy conditions are expected to continue across the Comorin area, along and off the coast of south Kerala, and in the Gulf of Mannar.
Additionally, IMD stated that rainfall followed by thunderstorm are likely in remote parts of Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh today.
