Weather Update: Non-stop rains in North India have now come up with several benefits apart from the difficulties possesed by it. Yes, you read that, according to preliminary reports, Delhi breathed its cleanest area in 2 years. However, talking about UP, schools and higher institutions are shut today as well. This is due to incessasant rainfall taking place.
According to sources 12 people have died so far due to heavy rainfal. The reason for the same being collapse of wall, snake-biting, lightning, and drowning. More than 900 villages of 17 districts are affected by floods in Uttar Pradesh i.e. over 8 lakh population. For relief work, CM Yogi Adityanath has order the respective and ground-level authorities to check up.

Delhi
The sky is predicted to remain cloudy today, while, few places may also experience light showers. Due to heavy rainfall since last few days, many places in Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad have been waterlogged. Some social media users have also shared pictures of dense fog in the city.
Mumbai
With record 24-hour rainfall earlier, the city is predicted to recieve heavy raindfall with thuderstorms today. The weather will become more colder while the cyclonic circulation is present over the states.
Chennai
As per the latest weather update, clouds will bloom over the city and its suburb today. Scattered to moderate rainfall is predicted for today, while heavy rainfall with thunderstorms will begin two days later.
Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Bihar
Fairly widespread rains with thunderstorms are predicted for UP, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and Sikkim. MAny districts in UP have already shut schools and colleges.

North India
Isolated rain and thunderstorms are likely over Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, and Haryana.
South India
Scattered rain and thunderstorms are on the cards over Odisha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Howver, Tamil Nadu is predicted to recieve heavy rainfall a couple of days later. IMD has also issued a yellow alert for Telangana.
Northeast India
Heavy rainfall is predicted for the northeastern states including Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura.
