Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) says that in March, there will be severe winds, rain, and snow in place of the lovely February weather. An orange signal has been issued by the Meteorological Department for heavy rain and snowfall in seven districts of Himachal Pradesh between March 1 and March 3. The India Meteorological Department reports that starting on March 1, there will be snowfall and showers in the mountains, which will result in a decrease in temperature on the plains as well. Delhi would continue to see beautiful morning and afternoon weather with lots of sunshine. The IMD in Delhi has forecast showers of rain or cloudy as the weather turns darker.

According to IMD, there will likely be isolated areas of heavy to extremely heavy rain and snowfall in Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad. Additionally, there will likely be isolated areas of heavy rain and snowfall in Uttarakhand (including Dehradun) and Himachal Pradesh. There will probably be hot, muggy weather in some remote areas of Kerala. Thunderstorm with lightning, gusty winds (40–50 kmph) and hailstorm at isolated locations over Punjab and West Rajasthan. There is lightning, gusty winds (30–40 kmph) and hailstorm at isolated locations over Uttarakhand; whereas lightning, gusty winds (40–50 kmph) and hailstorm at isolated locations over Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Marathwada, East Rajasthan, Haryana–Chandigarh–Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Gujarat State.
