Over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand( including Ranchi) , Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh & East Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar( including Patna) scattered to moderately widespread rainfall is anticipated until March 21 due to a cyclonic circulation and lower tropospheric levels. The IMD predicts that starting on the evening of March 20, this disturbance would likely have an effect on the Western Himalayan Region.

On March 20, 2024, there will likely be mild to moderate rainfall across a large area, with isolated thunderstorms and lightning possible across Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Yanam. On March 20, 2024, isolated, heavy rainfall is also possible over coastal Andhra Pradesh. On March 20, there is a chance of isolated light showers, thunderstorms, lightning, and hail over Marathwada.
