Weather Update: Rains to disrupt THESE states today, know city-wise forecast here

Weather Update: The temperature has fallen in the plains as a result of snowfall in the mountains. In the states of North India, fog and cold have begun to knock. The minimum temperature in the northern Indian states of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan is falling steadily. On the other hand, the mountains are still receiving a lot of snow. A white blanket of snow can be seen covering Himachal and Kashmir.

Over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, parts of Kerala, and Lakshadweep, light to moderate rain is expected over the next 24 hours, with one or two moderate showers highly possible. Tamil Nadu, South Andhra Pradesh, and a few locations in Karnataka may experience light to moderate rain.

Delhi

As per the latest weather update, the national capital will continue to have chilly mornings. The air quality index, too, will continue to be on the same level. Fog will continue to impact the mornings. The maximum temperature will be 30 degrees while the minimum will be 16 degrees.

Mumbai

The city and its suburbs will continue to have smoky days. There is no significant change impacted for the city for today. The maximum temperature will be 33 degrees and minimum will be 24 degrees.

Chennai

Adding relief to the city, there will be no rains for today. However, the rainfall is likely to return from this weekend. Although, the city will be partially cloudy today as well. The maximum temperature will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 24 degrees.

Kolkata

Kolkata will continue to have hazy weather while the chances of rain are close to nil. The sky will particularly be clear. The maximum temperature will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 18 degrees.

Which states will receive rainfall today?

Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh will experience isolated rains with thunderstorms while scattered showers are likely to hit Kerala, Karnataka, and Lakshadweep.

At a few locations across Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh as well as at one or two locations over Uttarakhand, light to moderate rain and snow are probable.
