IMD has issued red alert in Karnataka meanwhile many states of India are also going to face heavy rainfall. Read weather update here.
Weather Update: According to Jaipur Metrological Department, Rajasthan received the highest rainfall in the month of June in 123 years. The state received 156.9 mm of rainfall, 185% more than the average.
Monsoon has finally entered Delhi/NCR wholly. According to Metrological Department, the rain is here to stay for at least a week. We already saw a glimpse of heavy rainfall in Gurgaon yesterday.
While the rain in the NCR region is acting as a relief, IMD has issued an orange alert in Karnataka and other coastal regions. The metrological department also issued a Thunderstorm warning in the state for the next 48 hours.
The monsoon will likely remain in India for almost a week from today. The residents are advised to pay caution in heavy-risk areas. IMD has also advised fishermen not to go into the sea for a few days.
Weather Update: Delhi
According to IMD, Delhi, and other neighboring cities are likely to face rainfall for almost a week from now. After the monsoon got delayed in Delhi for nearly 10 days, it is here to stay. The temperature will be around 32 degrees to 27 degrees.
Mumbai
IMD has predicted heavy rainfall for the remainder of the monsoon season in Mumbai. The roads are flooded and the weather will remain the same for the next two days. The temperature will be around 29 degrees to 27 degrees.
Chennai
Chennai will also face heavy rainfall in the upcoming days. Several districts of Chennai will face intense rainfalls. The temperature will fluctuate between 33 degrees to 28 degrees.
Kolkata
With the temperature between 32 degrees and 27 degrees, Kolkata's skies will remain clear. There is no heavy rainfall in Kolkata for at least a week. But IMD has issued a warning of thundershowers over the area.
