Weather Update: The weather service has issued a warning for scorching conditions across Karnataka, Gujarat, and Rajasthan over the next two days. The meteorological service predicts mild weather in several portions of Marathwada and central Maharashtra for the night of March 29. Light snowfall is also possible in the upper sections of the Western Himalayas today. Additionally, light to heavy rainfall is predicted in several areas of Punjab and Haryana-Delhi. Additionally, there is a risk of light rain during the day in Delhi. Delhi’s current minimum temperature is between 19 and 20 degrees Celsius, which is 1 degree Celsius warmer than typical.

IMD predicts that there will be isolated to scattered thunderstorms and lightning with a high probability of occurring over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura. There will then be an increase in fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall or snowfall with a high probability of occurring over Arunachal Pradesh and scattered to fairly widespread over Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, as well as Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim. Arunachal Pradesh is likely to have isolated heavy rainfall or snowfall, while Assam and Meghalaya are likely to experience isolated heavy to very severe rainfall. Isolated, mild to moderate downpour with a high probability of thunderstorms and lightning over West Bengal and Odisha’s Gangetic region.
