Weather Update: The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for strong winds, thunder, and light rain. For the next seven days, the meteorological agency forecast thunderstorms and rainfall in eight states: Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, and Sikkim. The plains of northwest India will also see the effects of western disturbances, according to the Meteorological Department. Beginning on April 9, cloud cover will persist in several parts of Delhi, the nation’s capital; Ranchi and Kolkata. The Meteorological Department predicts that Tuesday’s high might reach 38 degrees Celsius and that it could dip as low as 18 degrees.

IMD forecasts that there will probably be isolated areas of severe rain or snowfall in Arunachal Pradesh. Over the North Interior Karnataka, warm nights are probably going to dominate in a few isolated places. It is quite probable that coastal regions in Gujarat State, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Rayalaseema, Coastal Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, Kerala & Mahe may have hot and muggy weather. Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds (up to 40–50 kmph) in isolated locations over East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha; with lightning and gusty winds (up to 30–40 kmph) in isolated locations over West Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Assam & Meghalaya, Marathwada, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Telangana; with lightning in isolated locations over East Rajasthan, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Jharkhand, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Kerala.
