Weather Update: In its most recent report, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a warning, stating that the few areas of Gujarat, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and West Bengal are most likely to continue experiencing heat waves. Conversely, it is highly probable that the southern part of India will continue to get isolated bouts of strong rainfall today. People in Tamil Nadu have been able to escape the heatwave thanks to the heavy rains that have been falling over the past week. The nighttime temperatures in Delhi will drop, with isolated areas experiencing heatwave conditions. Today, the sky is likely to stay clear.

IMD forecasts that there will probably be isolated areas of rainfall in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands,Odisha and Kerala. The conditions of a heat wave are expected to persist throughout much of Rajasthan, as well as in several areas of Madhya Pradesh. The heat wave conditions predicted for the several parts of Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat .There is a high probability of squally weather with wind speeds ranging from 35 to 45 kmph in the coastal areas of Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Kerala, Comorin Area, Gulf of Mannar and Bay of Bengal. The IMD predicts clear sky for Patna in the first half of the day. However it may turn into full or partial cloudy sky in the afternoon or evening. The same is expected for Lucknow and it's adjacent cities as well. If it rains in the parts of UP, then it may bring relief in the state's weather conditions.
