Weather Update: Winter knocks in ! Heavy rainfall predicted for THESE states | Schools and College closed in 7 cities

Weather Update: Although it is chilly in North India, it is pouring strongly in numerous South Indian states, including Tamil Nadu. Even in the hilly parts, it is snowing fiercely. In the morning, fog was visible in New Delhi.

In Tamil Nadu, persistent rains have interfered with daily living. Due to the severe rainfall, Ranipet, Chennai, Tiruvallur, Vellore, Kanjipuram, Villupuram, and Chengalpattu schools and colleges would stay closed. Apart from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry and, Karaikal will experience heavy rainfall.

According to the Meteorological Department, the night temperature will be above normal in most parts of the country in November. The department said that the minimum temperature during November will be above normal in most parts of the country. At the same time, day temperature will be above normal in Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Delhi

The national capital region is already experiencing smoky days. The mornings are filled with dense fogs whereas the day-time is consumed by smoke. However, the sky is also predicted ot remain partially cloudy. Though, there are no chances of rain happening today.

Mumbai

The financial capital of the country is predicted to have scattered cloudness throughout the day for a couple of days more. However, the chances of rain are close to nil.

Chennai

As the complete state of Tamil Nadu is already going through the patch of severe rains, Chennai is predicted to be alert as it will receive heavy rainfall with thunderstorms for many upcoming days.

What about other states?

As per the latest weather update, the majority of the country will have above-average nighttime temperatures in November, according to the Meteorological Department. According to the government, most of the country will have below-average minimum temperatures in November. Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand will all experience above-average daytime temperatures at the same time.
