Diabetes: Black Patches On Your Neck Or Underarms? Could Be Pre‑Diabetes Knocking, Gut Health Coach Weighs In

Diabetes

Diabetes: To many of us, a slight darkening of the skin around the neck, elbows or underarms is nothing more than a cosmetic issue, friction or poor hygiene. But what if your skin is telling you something deeper and horrifying about your overall health? These dark patches could be early warning signs of insulin resistance, which is a key precursor to pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes.

Diabetes-What Are These Dark Patches?

Acanthosis nigricans (the health condition characterized by dark skin patches on the body) is usually noticed in areas where the skin folds such as the knuckles, groin, armpits or neck.

These skin patches are linked strongly to insulin resistance, a condition where your body cells stop responding effectively to insulin. As a result, the pancreas starts producing more insulin to compensate. This could trigger skin cells to multiply more rapidly, resulting in the visible darkening and thickening.

The Gut–Insulin Connection

The gut is responsible for digestion while also playing a central role in regulating inflammation, glucose metabolism and hormonal balance. An unhealthy gut that is usually marked by high sugar intake, poor diet, chronic stress and processed foods could lead to systemic inflammation.

This, in turn, interferes with insulin signalling, which makes your body less responsive to insulin. An imbalanced gut microbiome can increase sugar cravings, worsen insulin resistance, promote fat storage and disrupt blood sugar regulation.

Early Warning Signs You Shouldn’t Ignore

Dark patches on the skin are just one piece of the puzzle. You should not ignore:

  • Persistent fatigue, especially after meals
  • Increased hunger or sugar cravings
  • Difficulty losing weight despite effort
  • Fat accumulation around the abdomen
  • Brain fog or low energy levels

Can It Be Reversed?

You need to follow the below tips and precautions:

  • Shift towards whole, unprocessed foods. Emphasize fibre-rich vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts and seeds. Reduce refined sugars, white flour and ultra-processed snacks that spike blood sugar levels.
  • Include probiotic-rich foods like yogurt, kefir, fermented vegetables, and traditional Indian foods like kanji or homemade pickles. Prebiotic foods such as garlic, onions, bananas and oats help nourish beneficial bacteria.
  • Avoid long gaps between meals and focus on balanced plates that include protein, healthy fats and complex carbohydrates.
  • Regular physical activity improves insulin sensitivity. Even simple practices like brisk walking, yoga or strength training can make a noticeable difference over time.
  • Chronic stress and poor sleep disrupt hormonal balance, including insulin function. Mindfulness practices, deep breathing and consistent sleep routines are often underestimated but powerful tools.

If you notice persistent dark patches that don’t improve with basic skincare, it’s wise to consult a healthcare professional.

Historic city of Batala gets development boost, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann announces projects worth ₹177 crore

CM Mann

Batala, one of Punjab’s most historic cities, is set for a major transformation as Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann rolled out development projects worth ₹177 crore, combining large-scale infrastructure expansion with a sharp political message against previous regimes. With over ₹95.72 crore worth of works by the Municipal Corporation (MC), ₹16.05 crore by the Mandi Board, and ₹65.09 crore in road construction by the PWD, alongside fresh repair works worth ₹42.56 crore and ₹34.97 crore, the push includes new bridges, a modern bus stand to ease traffic congestion, and a ₹14.81 crore allocation for new police lines.

Declaring the development drive as a decisive break from the past, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said the people of Punjab had ended “three generations of Akali-Congress loot” in 2022 and would not allow their return in 2027, while accusing previous governments of deliberately weakening anti-beadbi laws to protect themselves. He also targeted traditional parties, saying their disconnect from ordinary citizens reflects why people have rejected them, as his government moves to combine governance delivery with accountability.

Addressing the gathering after laying the foundation stone of several key development projects, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann stated, “Akalis had deliberately framed weak law against beadbi just to ensure that the perpetrators of the heinous crime were not punished for their sins.” He added, “These leaders were also afraid that they would also get punishment for their crime due to which they ensured that the laws were weak.”

The Chief Minister stated that the Punjab Government has passed the Jaagat Jot Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar (Amendment) Bill, 2026, stipulating harsher punishment for beadbi. “The dastardly act of beadbi of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was a deep rooted conspiracy to disturb hard earned peace, amity, brotherhood and communal harmony in the state,” he said.

The Chief Minister asserted that the Act will ensure strict action against offenders, saying, “Now anyone found guilty in this unpardonable offence will not be spared at any cost and exemplary action would be taken against them as a deterrent for others.” He emphasised, “Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the father of every Sikh and the state government is duty bound to ensure the safety of this holy granth.” He added, “If Sri Guru Granth Sahib is not safe in the state then where else can it be,” calling the legislation a historic milestone to check beadbi.

Taking a jibe at the Akali Dal’s so-called ‘Punjab Bachao Yatra’, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “The real name of this gimmick of Akali Dal is ‘parivar bachao yatra’ as the entire effort is aimed at safeguarding their family interests.” He challenged the Akali leadership, asking, “After looting the state for 15 years, from whom they are trying to save the state from.” He said that the Akalis had plundered the state mercilessly, bruised the psyche of Punjabis emotionally, and patronised several mafias.

The Chief Minister further said, “Everyone knows that this family was a stooge of Britishers and was conferred the title of Sir by them for hobnobbing against the patriots who fought for the country.” He added, “The family had felicitated General Dyer, the perpetrator of Jallianwala Bagh massacre on April 13, 1919, by hosting a dinner for him after this heinous incident,” stating that such acts exposed their anti-national and anti-Punjab mindset.

He said, “Not only this the family also ensured that General Dyer was also bestowed siropa and forgiveness at Golden Temple.” Emphasising that history cannot be erased, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “The dubious characters of Badal’s ancestors are etched on the pages of history,” adding that “the hands of this family are drenched with the blood of the patriots and the role of these traitors in backstabbing the nationalists can never be forgotten.”

The Chief Minister said that these leaders had “used the bullets and then the drug (Chitta) to ruin the youth of the state,” asserting that they can never be forgiven. He added, “Akalis should be booked for the genocide of generations as the drug trade was patronized by them and it flourished during their long misrule.” He further said, “The hands of these leaders are drenched with the blood of millions of youth who fell prey to the drug that was supplied in the state in their official vehicles.”

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “The sins of these leaders are unpardonable and they can never be forgiven by the people for their long saga of misdeeds, which are fresh in the minds of people.” He termed them “opportunist leaders who change their colors like a chameleon as per their convenience and vested political interests,” adding that the large turnout of people even in scorching heat reflects the public’s support for the state government.

Highlighting governance, he said, “While the state government has worked wholeheartedly for people these leaders minted money from the Power Purchase Agreements and even from the coal that was supplied to the state from the private firms.” He added that coal supply from Pachwara Coal Mine has resumed after a long gap, and in 2024-25 it achieved the target of supplying 70 lakh metric tons of coal. “Since the resumption of supply from Pachwara in October 2022 the AAP government has saved ₹1,462 crore,” he said.

The Chief Minister said that Akali leader Sukhbir Badal is making unrealistic promises and “baseless and irrational statements like returning of Dinosaurs in the state,” adding that such statements reflect desperation to regain power, which he said will not happen. He added that these leaders “start spitting venom against him at the early dawn of the day” because their “ugly face” has been exposed before the people.

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “These parties played a game of musical chairs and plundered the wealth of the state during their tenure in the government besides shielding the other party.” He added that people voted for the broom, leading to transformation in schools, hospitals and other sectors. He said that previous leaders had built “huge palaces by amassing whopping wealth by misusing their official positions.”

He added, “The walls of these palatial palaces were high and the gates usually remained closed for the people,” noting that such leaders remained inaccessible and were eventually rejected by the public. He said that people have now become aware and are not influenced by misleading propaganda.

The Chief Minister said that these “haughty politicians had always taken the people of state for granted,” and added that while the Punjab Government discusses education, health, power, and agriculture, other parties focus only on capturing power. He said that such leaders are “baffled as people are not giving them any sort of response” and are only concerned about their families.

Listing key initiatives, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “For the first time farmers have been provided power during daytime.” He added that “300 units of free electricity per month are being provided to all domestic consumers” and “around 90% of domestic consumers are receiving zero electricity bills.” He further stated that “more than 65,000 youngsters have got government jobs.”

He urged people to enroll under Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna, stating that it provides “cashless treatment of ₹10 lakh” per family. He added that “over 30 lakh beneficiaries have already received health cards” and “1.65 lakh people have received free treatment under this scheme.”

Talking about Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojna, he said that the scheme provides “₹1000 per month for other category women and ₹1500 for SC category women above 18 years.”

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the government is responsibly using taxpayers’ money for public welfare, adding that this approach was missing earlier. He said previous governments had “mercilessly plundered the wealth of the people” and derailed Punjab’s progress.

He stated that people wisely voted to bring a pro-people government to power and reiterated that they will not forgive the Akalis for their actions. “People had elected Akalis time and again but they had proved to be traitors and had always backstabbed the state and its people,” he said.

The Chief Minister said that Akalis had “misused religion for their vested political interests,” and added that people have lost faith in traditional parties due to their anti-people and anti-Punjab stance. He reiterated that previous rulers were more focused on their families than Punjab and Punjabis, which led to their rejection by the public.

In his address, senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia said, “It is a matter of immense pride and satisfaction that Bhagwant Singh Mann has proved to be the most popular Chief Minister of the state.” He added, “Bhagwant Singh Mann is the only Chief Minister in the country who is working for the welfare of people whereas all the other states have Chiefs who are working for greed or their party.”

Manish Sisodia further said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the biggest threat to the democracy in the country,” and urged people to protect their votes.

On the occasion, Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak, senior AAP leader and Punjab Prabhari Manish Sisodia, MLA Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi and others were also present.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Raises Concerns Over Population-Based Seat Delimitation, Calls for Uniform Policy

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has raised concerns over the proposed changes in population-based census and Lok Sabha seat delimitation, stating that such decisions should not be driven by political interests.

Bhagwant Mann: Political Use of Delimitation

Mann emphasized that population-based seat changes should not be used as a tool to secure electoral advantages. He warned that any such move could impact the federal structure of the country.

Call for Uniform Criteria

The Chief Minister urged that any increase or redistribution of Lok Sabha seats must follow a common and fair standard applicable equally to all states, ensuring balance and representation.

Questions on Women Reservation

He also questioned the implementation of women’s reservation, asking why such provisions were not applied earlier within the existing 543 Lok Sabha seats.

Strategy to Be Finalised

Mann stated that a broader strategy on the issue would be developed after detailed discussions, indicating that the matter holds significant importance for multiple states.

The issue is likely to remain in focus as discussions around census, delimitation, and democratic representation continue at the national level.

Breast Cancer In Men: Doctor Reveals Hidden Risk Linked To Steroids And Gynecomastia, Check Video

Breast Cancer In Men Doctor Reveals Hidden Risk Linked To Steroids And Gynecomastia

Breast cancer is often seen as a disease that affects only women. However, that belief is not entirely true. A recent discussion has brought attention to a lesser-known reality. It reveals that men can also develop breast cancer, and many people still don’t know this.

While the condition is rare in men, ignoring early signs can be risky. A small lump or unusual change in the chest area may seem harmless, but it should never be overlooked.

Can Men Get Breast Cancer? Here’s What The Doctor Said

In a video on YouTube, journalist Shubhankar Mishra asked an important question about breast cancer in men. Responding to this, Dr Tarang Krishna said, “Yes, men can also get breast cancer. This may surprise many people, but men do have breast tissue. Cancer can develop in that tissue, although it is quite rare.”

He further explained that the condition often begins with a small lump in the chest. Many people ignore it, thinking it is something minor like a lipoma. However, proper tests and scans can sometimes reveal it as breast cancer.

Dr Tarang also noted that even in clinical practice, a few cases are seen every year. This shows that although rare, breast cancer in men is real and should not be ignored.

According to the American Cancer Society, this disease in men accounts for less than 1% of all breast cancer cases. Still, early detection plays a key role in treatment.

Breast Cancer Risk Factors In Men You Should Know

Not all men face the same risk. Some conditions can increase the chances of developing this disease. Dr Tarang highlighted a few key factors:

  • Gynecomastia: This is a condition where men develop larger or looser chest tissue. It can resemble female breast tissue and slightly increase the risk.
  • Steroid use: Bodybuilders who use steroids or certain supplements may face higher risk due to hormonal imbalance.
  • Ignoring symptoms: Small lumps are often dismissed, which delays diagnosis.

These factors show why awareness is important. Even a minor change in the chest area should be checked by a doctor.

Why Awareness Matters

The biggest challenge with this disease in men is lack of awareness. Many do not even consider it a possibility, which leads to delayed diagnosis.

Simple steps can help:

  1. Pay attention to unusual lumps or swelling.
  2. Do not ignore persistent changes.
  3. Consult a doctor early if something feels unusual.

Early detection can make a big difference. As awareness grows, more people may take timely action and avoid serious complications.

In the end, this disease is not limited by gender. Knowing the signs and risks can help save lives.

UP Police Recruitment: CM Yogi Adityanath Highlights Over 2.19 Lakh Appointments in 9 Years

CM Yogi Adityanath has highlighted the scale of police recruitment in the state, stating that more than 2.19 lakh youth have been recruited into the police force over the past nine years.

He noted that in earlier years, simply deploying personnel was not sufficient, as many lacked adequate training and resources, making them less effective in handling responsibilities. The government has since shifted its focus to not just recruitment, but also structured training and equipping personnel with necessary tools.

CM Yogi Adityanath: Major Recruitment Push Since 2017

The Chief Minister stated that when the government came to power in 2017, the Uttar Pradesh Police had more than half of its posts vacant. Over the past nine years, more than 2.19 lakh personnel have been recruited to fill this gap.

Training and Capacity Building

Along with recruitment, the government has prioritized training to ensure that police personnel are well-prepared for duty. This includes improving skills, discipline, and operational efficiency.

Strengthening Law Enforcement

Officials believe that a trained and well-equipped police force is essential for maintaining law and order, preventing crime, and ensuring citizen safety across the state.

Focus on Modern Policing

The initiative also aims to modernize the police system by providing better infrastructure, equipment, and continuous training support.

The approach reflects a shift from merely increasing numbers to building a capable and efficient police force that can effectively serve the public.

According to the Chief Minister, the recruitment process has been carried out in a transparent and systematic manner, aiming to strengthen law enforcement across Uttar Pradesh.

He further stated that over 60,000 police personnel are currently undergoing training simultaneously, which is expected to enhance the operational capacity of the police force.

Officials believe that such large-scale recruitment and training will improve law and order, ensure better policing, and increase public safety in the state.

Focus on Youth Employment

The initiative is also being seen as a major step toward providing employment opportunities to young people, contributing to economic and social stability.

Thyroid Relief Without Pills? 3 Natural Remedies Yoga Teachers Swear By

Thyroid Health

Thyroid Health: It may come as a surprise to you but thyroid health is often the most under-looked health condition until symptoms begin to interfere with daily life. Thankfully, you can always count on natural remedies that are highly accessible, affordable, simple and deeply supportive when practiced regularly.

Top 3 Natural Remedies For Thyroid Health

1. Oil Massage on the Thyroid Area

A gentle oil massage on the thyroid region could help relax surrounding muscles, stimulate circulation and support glandular function. Ideally, you should use cold-pressed coconut oil (ideal for people with excess bodily heat or inflammation), sesame oil (ideal for those with sluggish metabolism or dryness), or castor oil (ideal for stimulating glands).

You may add a few drops of essential oils like lavender or frankincense for relaxation, but this is optional and should ALWAYS be diluted properly.

To get started, you need to take a small amount of oil and warm it slightly by rubbing it between the palms. Now, you need to gently apply it on your neck’s front region where the thyroid gland is located. Thereafter, keep massaging the area in an upward and circular direction for a good 2 to 5 minutes while keeping the pressure soft. The massage is best performed in the morning before taking a shower or at night before bedtime.

You should AVOID the practice if you have nodules, swelling or pain in the thyroid area unless guided by a healthcare professional.

2. Drinking Dhaniya (Coriander) Soaked Water

Take 1 to 2 teaspoons of whole coriander seeds and soak them in a glass of water overnight (approximately 200-250ml). Boil the soaked seeds in the same water in the morning for about 5-7 minutes. Thereafter, strain the liquid and allow it to cool until it is warm and consume it on an empty stomach. Avoid adding any form of sugar or sweeteners and repeat the procedure for at least 5-7 weeks to observe any noticeable changes.

3. Practicing Yoga for Thyroid Management

Try the following yoga asanas for relief from thyroid pain:

  • Sarvangasana (Shoulder Stand): Increases blood circulation to the thyroid gland and helps regulate its activity.
  • Matsyasana (Fish Pose): Stretches the throat area, stimulating the thyroid and parathyroid glands.
  • Halasana (Plow Pose): Compresses the neck region, enhancing blood flow and improving glandular function.
  • Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose): Stretches the throat and chest, promoting better endocrine balance.
  • Ustrasana (Camel Pose): Opens the throat chakra area, helping stimulate the thyroid gland.

Begin with a gentle warm-up to prepare your body. Hold each posture for 15–30 seconds initially, gradually increasing duration as your strength improves. Focus on slow, controlled breathing throughout the practice and end with relaxation in Shavasana to allow the body to integrate the benefits.

Haryana News: Pod Taxi Revolution On Cards! Would Futuristic Mobility Play Revolutionise Indian Commuters’ Dreams?

Haryana News

Haryana News: The state government of Haryana is presently exploring a possible partnership with Glydways and Suzuki Motor Corporation to position itself at the centrestage of the country’s next-gen urban mobility leap. The state is presently evaluating the concept of driverless pod taxi systems across key cities of the northern India state to redefine how urban India travels.

The proposal was discussed during a high-level meeting that was spearheaded by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini at Sant Kabir Kutir in Chandigarh.

Haryana News-What’s Special?

The proposal signals the state’s relentless commitment to facilitate smooth and seamless transition from conventional infrastructure expansion to tech-led, future-ready transport systems.

Interestingly, the Glydways transit system is a seamless network of autonomous, compact pods that could operate on dedicated gateways to offer non-stop and on-demand travel. Unlike traditional bus or metro systems, the Glydways transit system’s model assures reduced wait times, point-to-point connectivity and lower infrastructure costs, all of which makes it highly suited for rapidly urbanizing corridors of the state and India.

Evaluation Process

Critical aspects of the pod taxi services such as route identification, execution timelines, feasibility and Public-private-partnership (PPP) based investment structures were reviewed by senior officials including Urban Local Bodies Commissioner & Secretary Ashok Kumar Meena and Chief Principal Secretary to CM Rajesh Khullar. The presence of Glydways leadership – Chris Riley, Dave Manu and Alberto Fernandez Lopez – and Suzuki’s Kento Ogura further underlined the engagement’s seriousness.

The technology behind Glydways transit system is designed to optimize traffic flow, cut travel time and minimize carbon emissions and footprint. All these benefits collectively would make it a viable and environment-friendly alternative to both high-cost mass transit systems and private vehicles.

If executed, the project could reshape intra-city travel across Faridabad, Panchkula, Ambala, Chandigarh, Gurugram and other emerging urban hubs of the state.

The release of Ek Din trailer 2 has stirred fresh conversation online. The romantic drama is backed by Aamir Khan, and stars Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi as leads. It is set to release in cinemas on May 1, 2026.

After an average response to the first trailer, Ek Din trailer 2 has once again received mixed reactions. Many viewers feel the film looks very similar to the Thai movie One Day. Some even say it feels like a “frame-by-frame” copy.

Ek Din Trailer Indicates Film Is Exact Copy-Paste Of Thai Film One Day

Ek Din trailer 2 focuses on a simple yet emotional love story. It introduces a rare medical condition called Transient Global Amnesia (TGA), where a person loses recent memories for a short time.

In the film, Junaid Khan plays a quiet IT employee who secretly likes his colleague Meera, played by Sai Pallavi. Their bond grows during a company trip to Hokkaido, Japan.

However, things change suddenly when Meera is diagnosed with TGA. Because of this condition, she forgets everything within a day. This creates a unique situation where the couple gets only one day to live their love story.

The trailer shows how the hero chooses to spend that one day with her, even though he knows she will forget him. The story promises a mix of love, heartbreak and emotional moments.

Netizens REACT To Ek Din Trailer 2

Reactions to Ek Din trailer 2 have been divided. Some viewers feel the trailer reveals too much of the story. Others think the film lacks originality.

A Reddit user wrote, “Yeh trailer ke naam par puri story kyu batadi?”
Another said, “Puri movie ka plot trailer main hi bata Diya.”

One user also compared it with other films, saying, “We have movies like Dhurandar and then this coming out.”

An angry user said, “The disgusting obsession of Aamir with remakes needs to stop, he will be irrelevant soon and Junaid Khan’s career, at least as a main lead, will be done soon.”

Ek Din will face strong competition at the box office. It will release alongside Riteish Deshmukh’s Raja Shivaji and The Devil Wears Prada 2, starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.

The foldable smartphone segment is heating up fast, and Motorola is once again in the spotlight with its much-talked-about Motorola Razr Fold. With claims of a massive 6000mAh battery and ultra-fast 80W charging, the device is already creating buzz among tech enthusiasts.

Powerful Battery That Changes the Game

One of the biggest concerns in foldable phones has always been battery life. Most devices struggle to balance large foldable displays with long-lasting power.

The Motorola Razr Fold, however, is rumored to come with a 6000mAh battery, which could be a major upgrade compared to typical foldables. If true, this means:

  • Longer screen-on time
  • Better gaming and multitasking experience
  • Less frequent charging breaks

80W Fast Charging: Speed That Matters

Along with a large battery, the device is expected to support 80W fast charging, which can significantly reduce charging time.

In practical use, this could mean:

  • Quick top-ups during busy schedules
  • Less dependency on overnight charging
  • Improved convenience for power users

Design and Foldable Experience

While Motorola has not officially revealed full design details, the Razr series is known for its stylish flip-inspired foldable design.

The Razr Fold is expected to continue this legacy with:

  • A compact foldable form factor
  • A large internal display for immersive viewing
  • A secondary cover screen for quick tasks

Can It Dominate the Foldable Market?

The foldable market is currently led by strong competitors like Samsung and other emerging brands. To stand out, Motorola needs to offer the following:

  • Better battery efficiency
  • Competitive pricing
  • Strong software optimization
  • Durable hinge technology

If the Razr Fold truly delivers on its rumored specifications, it could become one of the most balanced foldables in the market.

Delhi Viral Video: A 19-year-old Delhi University student was unexpectedly removed just before felicitating a Union Minister at a Women’s Youth Parliament event in Delhi after an official objected to her sleeveless kurti. The incident, which took place during an event themed on “Nari Shakti,” has gone viral and sparked a strong debate online about dress codes, judgement, and the true meaning of women empowerment.

What Happened?

A recent incident from Delhi has gone viral and triggered a heated debate on social media. Saarah Sharma, a 19-year-old student from Daulat Ram College, Delhi University, was invited to felicitate Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya at a Women’s Youth Parliament event held on 12 April 2026 at SRCC.The event was organized by Mera Yuva Bharat  and focused on the theme “Nari Shakti: Viksit Bharat ki Awaaz Strengthening Inclusive Democracy,” highlighting the importance of the Nari Shakti Vandan Act. However, just before she was about to go on stage, an official reportedly stopped her and replaced her with another student, citing her sleeveless kurti as inappropriate for the occasion.

Dress Code Debate Sparks Controversy

The incident quickly spread online, with many questioning whether the decision was fair in an event centered around women’s empowerment. While some users supported the organizers’ call for a “formal traditional look,” others called it unnecessary judgment over personal clothing choices. Netizens argued that when the theme itself celebrates Nari Shakti, such restrictions send mixed signals about freedom and empowerment.

Public Reaction: Empowerment or Double Standards?

Delhi Viral Video: Social media platforms were flooded with reactions. One group believes maintaining decorum and uniformity in official events is important. Another group feels that judging a student based on sleeve length contradicts the idea of women empowerment being promoted on stage. The incident has now turned into a larger conversation about how “tradition,” “professionalism,” and “personal choice” are interpreted in public institutions.
