Amity Viral Video: In a shocking turn of events, an Upper Kindergarten (UKG) student of Amity International School in Sector 44 of Noida was allegedly left out locked inside a school bus for more than 7 hours. This was after the child fell asleep during the morning commute.

The boy was finally located inside the school bus after an extensive search was launched by the parents at a yard that was nearly 25 kilometres from the school campus.

It was revealed by the parents that the shocked child was found crying inconsolably, frightened and drenched in sweat.

Amity Viral Video-Parents Shared The Ordeal

The parents revealed their boy boarded the bus from their housing society early morning as usual. It is believed that the child may dozed off while in route to the school and stayed unnoticed inside the bus even after the vehicle reached the Sector 44 school campus.

It was revealed by the parents that the bus’s careless staff allowed the bus to go ahead to a secluded parking area. After this, the bus stayed parked for hours with the toddler still locked inside, anxious and terrified. Speaking to The Statesman, the child’s parents claimed they didn’t receive any ‘absent from school’ notification from Amity International School, which exposes a serious procedural lapse resulting in the enduring trauma for the little child. The matter came to light when the mother of the child reached the designated drop-off point of the bus in the afternoon to pick him.

The panic-stricken mother after unable to find the child in the bus informed other family members and relatives who approached the school authorities immediately and subsequently, the police were also informed.

In a statement issued by Principal Renu Singh, it was stated that school administration was informed of an incident and immediate action was taken by the school. The statement further reads that the school is relieved to confirm that the student was unharmed.

Social media users blasted the school authorities for being so careless and put the precious life of a young child at risk. Some even said the school needs to be punished for causing emotional trauma to the toddler.

Arvind Kejriwal: Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia have been acquitted by Special Judge Jitender Singh of Rouse Avenue Courts.

The Judge discharged all 23 accused in the alleged liquor policy scam. The former Delhi Chief Minister came out after the verdict and cried while giving a speech.

Arvind Kejriwal-The Court’s Verdict

The Court blasted the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for serious lapses in the investigation process. It added that the “voluminous chargesheet” has many content pieces that are not supported by any statement or witness.

The Court went on to add that the investigating agency failed to make out a prima facie case against Manish Sisodia and also commented that the former Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal was implicated by the CBI without any cogent material.

Earlier, the court had reserved its decision on February 12 after hearing detailed arguments from all sides. It was alleged by the CBI that Rs. 100 crore was paid to Kejriwal and others by a “South India lobby” for influencing the now-scrapped Delhi’s excise policy in its favour.

The List Of Accused

A total of 23 accused were chargesheeted, including Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, K Kavitha, Kuldeep Singh, Narender Singh, Vijay Nair, Arvind Kumar Singh, Durgesh Pathak, Amit Arora, Vinod Chauhan, Ashish Mathur, Abhishek Boinpally, Arun Amandeep Singh Dhall, Arjun Pandey, Butchibabu Gornatla, Rakesh Joshi, Damodar Prasad Sharma, Prince Kumar, Ramchandra Pillai, Mootha Goutam, Sameer Mahendru, Chanpreet Singh Rayat and P Sarath Chadra Reddy.

Senior advocate N Hariharan, appearing for Kejriwal, remarked that there is absolutely no incriminating content associating his client to the alleged liquor policy scam. Represented by Additional Solicitor General D P Singh and advocate Manu Mishra, the CBI contended that there is sufficient evidence to frame charges against Arvind Kejriwal and the remaining accused.

Assi Box Office Collection Day 7:  Taapsee Pannu-led courtroom drama Assi has struggled to make an impact. It finished the first week in theatres amid a disappointing run. According to trade website Sacnilk, Assi box office collection stands at Rs 6.89 crore (India net) after seven days. The film’s gross collection is around Rs 8.26 crore.

For a film directed by Anubhav Sinha and backed by a strong social theme, these numbers are poor and much below expectations. Many in the industry believed it would cross the Rs 10 crore mark in its opening week. However, that target remains unmet.

Assi Box Office Collection Day 7

The daily trend shows a slow and uneven performance. The film opened with just Rs 1.00 crore on Friday. It saw slight growth over the weekend, earning Rs 1.60 crore on both Saturday and Sunday. However, collections dropped sharply from Monday, when it made Rs 0.70 crore. The numbers remained low during the weekdays, with Rs 0.85 crore on Tuesday, Rs 0.60 crore on Wednesday and an estimated Rs 0.54 crore on Thursday. By the end of its first week, the total stood at Rs 6.89 crore net.

Although the film received some praise for its bold subject, positive reviews have not translated into strong ticket sales. So far, word of mouth has not boosted the Assi box office collection in a big way.

Will The Kerala Story 2 Delay Help Assi Box Office Collection?

The much-talked-about sequel The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond was set to release on February 27. However, just a day before its premiere, the Kerala High Court granted an interim stay on its release.

The court raised concerns about the film’s certification and content. It directed the Central Board of Film Certification to re-examine the film before its release. Petitions had questioned its UA certificate and title, arguing that the subject could affect social harmony.

At present, the stay will continue for about 15 days. The makers have appealed, and a division bench has reserved its decision.

This delay may indirectly help the Assi box office collection. When a major release gets postponed, films already running in cinemas often benefit from extra screen space and less competition. With The Kerala Story 2 temporarily out of theatres, Assi could get more shows in Week 2.

However, trade experts warn that reduced competition alone will not guarantee success. The film still needs stronger weekday collections and better audience response to improve its overall numbers.

About The Film

Assi is a hard-hitting courtroom drama. The story follows Parima, played by Kani Kusruti, a schoolteacher who survives a brutal gang rape in Delhi and fights for justice. Taapsee Pannu plays Raavi, a determined lawyer leading the case.

The cast also includes Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Revathy, Manoj Pahwa and Kumud Mishra. The film runs for 2 hours and 14 minutes. Its title refers to the statistic that nearly 80 women are assaulted in India every day. A red screen flash appears every 20 minutes to highlight this grim reality.

Pakistan Afghanistan Conflict: Afghanistan has retaliated hard to the weak military challenges of Pakistan. A spokesperson for the Afghan Taliban remarked that the country has responded with renewed attack along the shared border of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Taliban military spokesman Mawlawi Wahidullah Mohammadi remarked that retaliatory operations have been initiated around 8pm local time on Thursday. Zabihullah Mujahid, the group’s chief spokesman, remarked the offensive had killed many soldiers of Pakistani army while capturing many while an F16 Aircraft was shot down.

Mujahid remarked extensive offensive operations have been launched by Afghanistan on army centres and military facilities in Pakistan along the Durand Line in the wake of repeated insurrections by the military circles of Pakistan. Up to 55 Pakistani soldiers had been killed while many were captured, as per Afghanistan’s deputy government spokesman Hamdullah Fitrat.

In response, Pakistan has started bombing Kabul and other cities of Afghanistan after fighting spread following attacks against military positions in Pakistan by Afghan forces.

In another development, Iran has offered to mediate between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Pakistan Afghanistan Conflict: “Patience Has Run Out”

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif remarked the country’s “patience has run out” with the Taliban and the country would now wage an “open war.”

In October, relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan entered almost into a war mode before things got calmed off. It killed more than 100 people on both sides of the Durand Line.

India’s Connection

Pakistan has long accused Afghanistan of harbouring armed groups like the Pakistan Taliban to use Afghanistan as a base and initiate attacks on Pakistan.

India has condemned the attacks by Pakistan on Afghanistan. New Delhi called it as another attempt by Pakistan to externalize its internal failures.

Meanwhile, the United Nations has urged for urgent de-escalation. Stephane Dujarric, the spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, said UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres urges all the involved parties to uphold their obligations under the international law and ensure the protection of civilians.

Ismail Darbar was first married to Farzana, and they have two sons (Awez and Zaid). Nearly two decades ago, while still married, he tied the knot with Ayesha. She was a Hindu before marriage and later converted to Islam.

In an interview with Subhojit Ghosh for his YouTube channel, Darbar reflected on the difficult phase in his life. He said, “20 years of my life have been very tough. But I salute Ayesha for bearing it with me. Reaffirming the Bhagwant Mann Government’s firm commitment to industrial growth and investor facilitation, Cabinet Minister for Industries & Commerce, Investment Promotion, Power and Local Government Sanjeev Arora on Thursday inaugurated the newly established dairy feed plant of Cargill Private Limited at the Industrial Park, Wazirabad in Mandi Gobindgarh. The state-of-the-art unit has been set up with an investment of ₹300 crore.

Addressing the gathering, Sanjeev Arora said, “Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Hon’ble Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab is witnessing substantial industrial investments through the Invest Punjab initiative. These investments are generating employment opportunities for the youth and accelerating Punjab’s overall economic development.”

The Minister added, “Growing investor confidence clearly reflects that Punjab is emerging as a preferred destination for investments, particularly in the agriculture and food processing sectors. The Punjab Government remains fully committed to providing every possible support and ensuring a business-friendly ecosystem through progressive policies and a peaceful industrial environment.”

Spread over 15 acres, the Cargill plant has an annual production capacity of 4.5 lakh metric tonnes and is the largest dairy feed plant in South Asia. After Bathinda, this marks Cargill’s second major unit in Punjab, further strengthening the agro-industrial value chain of Punjab. The management of Cargill Private Limited commended Sanjeev Arora for his consistent efforts in facilitating the establishment of the plant.

Highlighting the direct benefits to farmers, Minister Sanjeev Arora said, “This plant will greatly benefit dairy farmers by ensuring the local availability of high-quality cattle feed, thereby improving milk yield, quality and farmers’ income. The scientifically developed feed will enhance animal health and productivity, helping Punjab’s dairy sector scale new heights.”

Expressing confidence in the future of the dairy sector, he said, “Just as Punjab is known as the food bowl of India, it will soon emerge as a leading supplier of milk to other states as well.”

Interacting with the media, Minister Sanjeev Arora informed, “The upcoming Progressive Punjab Investors’ Summit 2026, scheduled from March 13 to 15 at Mohali, is expected to attract large participation from national and international investors. The Punjab Government is making continuous efforts to position Punjab among the top industrial states of India. Industry in Punjab is steadily progressing and industrialists have expressed satisfaction with the proactive policies of the Punjab Government.”

Earlier, local MLA Lakhbir Singh Rai said, “The establishment of the Cargill plant will generate employment opportunities for nearly 1,000 youth in the region. The availability of superior-quality feed will significantly improve animal health and milk quality in the area.”
