North Korean authorities have announced lockdown on the border city of Kaesong after witnessing what they call is the country’s first suspected case of coronavirus, state media reported on Sunday.
If the suspected case tests positive for the virus, he or she would be North Korea’s first confirmed case. The pateint was found in the Kaesong City, which borders with South Korea, and has been put “under strict quarantine.” People who had been in contact with the suspected patient and those who had been to Kaesong in the last five days were also quarantined.
As per the report of KCNA, a defector who had left for South Korea three years ago returned on July 19 after “illegally crossing” the heavily fortified border dividing the two countries.
Kim was quoted as saying “the vicious virus could be said to have entered the country”, and officials on Friday took the “preemptive measure of totally blocking Kaesong City”.
The lockdown was declared on Friday afternoon.
Pyongyang have previously steadfastly said that no case of the novel coronavirus has been reported in the country as they stopped nearly all cross-border traffic, banned foreign tourists and mobilized health workers to quarantine anyone with symptoms.
However, it’s the first time the country have announced lockdown since the outbreak of the virus. Meanwhile, foreign experts have said that a coronavirus outbreak in North Korea as the medical infrastructure in the country is woefully inadequate to deal with the crisis.

“COVID-19 recovery rate in our country is better than others. Our fatality rate is much less than other countries. We were able to save the lives of lakhs of people, but the threat of coronavirus is not over yet. It is spreading fast in many areas, we need to remain vigilant.”
“Villages have been making extraordinary efforts against Covid-19. With a positive approach, a disaster can be turned around into opportunity,” the Prime Minister added.

Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman has made some shocking revelations about Bollywood. He said that the reason he has been absent from Bollywood over the years is because several people in the Hindi film industry have constantly been spreading rumours about him, resulting into less work for him.
In an interview with FM station Radio Mirchi, Rahman was asked why he works more frequently in Tamil cinema than in Hindi films.
Responding to which, he said, “I don’t say no to good movies, but I think there is a gang, which, due to misunderstandings, is spreading some false rumours.”
Rahman, in the latest, composed music for “Dil Bechara”, the late Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film that released on OTT this Friday. The film has nine songs in total.
Dil Bechara marks the directorial debut of casting director Mukesh Chhabra, and has been garnering heaps of praises for its soulful juke box.
“When Mukesh Chhabra came to me, I gave him four songs in two days. He told me, ‘Sir, many people said don’t go to him (Rahman). They told me stories after stories’. I heard that and I realised, yeah okay, now I understand why I get less (Bollywood offers) and why the good movies are not coming to me. I am doing dark movies, because there is a whole gang working against me. People are expecting me to do stuff, but there is another gang of people preventing that from happening, without them knowing that they are doing harm,” Rahman told the radio station.
“It is fine, because I believe in destiny, and I believe that everything comes from God. So, I am taking my movies and doing my other stuff”All of you are welcome to come to me. Make beautiful movies, and you are welcome to come to me,” he said.
Rahman won two Oscars and Grammys for Danny Boyle’s “Slumdog Millionaire” in 2009. He has won six National Awards – the most for a music director in the country. In October last year, he turned producer with the musical film, “99 Songs”.

A copy of letter wherein it is mentioned that the PM has received recognized the letter is making rounds on the internet. “I have received your letter of July 15, 2020,” read the letter passed across from PM Modi.
In his letter to PM Modi, Swamy has stated that Sushant’s death is being covered up as suicide. He also mentioned that big names in Bollywood with the help of dons in Dubai are asking Mumbai Police to cover up the death and call it a voluntary suicide.
The letter send by Subramanian Swamy read:
“You are well aware, I am sure, of the untimely death of film actor Mr. Sushant Singh Rajput. My associate in law, Mr. Ishkaran Bhandari, has done research on the circumstances of his alleged suicide that he is said to have committed. Although the Police is still investigating the circumstances after registering an FIR, I learn from my sources in Mumbai that many big names in the Bollywood film world with links to Dons in Dubai are seeking to ensure a cover-up is carried out by the Police so that voluntary suicide is concluded as the reson for the demise of Mr. Rajput.”
Dr Subramanian @Swamy39 had written letter dr 15th July 2020 to @narendramodi@PMOIndia on the mysterious death of Actor Sushant Singh Rajput & asked for CBI investigation, Now Namo by letter dt 20th July has acknowledged the letter pic.twitter.com/1updoiWQFq
“Since Maharashtra Government has many big wigs to share this view that Mr. Rajput be proved to have committed voluntary suicide, therefore, I am concerned that for public confidence Mumbai Police conducts a perceived impartial investigation.”
“Therefore, I urge you as the Head of the Government of India, and with your known cornpassion for innocent people who are framed, that you may consider advising the Chief Minister of Mahrashtra directly or through the governor to agree a CBI enquiry. The Mumbai Police has already hands full with Conavirus Pandemic issues and maintaining law and order under the circumstances. Hence, this laborious duty of conducting this enquiry where public credibility is being strained, a CBI enquiry would be the only way to retain public confidence.”
“I am sure that the Chief Minister of Maharashtra will agree to a CBI investigation upon such advice.”
Meanwhile, Swamy has taken to Twitter to ask everyone who want CBI inquiry into Sushant’s death to make the constituency MPs write to PM Modi.
“All those who want CBI inquiry into the circumstances of SSR’s unnatural death should ask their constituency MPs to write, like me, to PM asking for a CBI inquiry,” he tweeted.

Parents’ Day is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of every July to shower love and compassion towards parents who sacrifice many of their desires to provide their children everything they dream of. On this day, people express their gratefulness towards parents for their commitment to bring up their child in a safe environment.
The day falls two months after Mother’s Day in May, and a month after Father’s Day in the June. Although it is celebrated in the most part of the world, it’s not a public holiday.
Parents play a vital role in the lives of children. They serve as role models for their children. We seek guidance from them and always look up to them for life advice.

To make your parents feel special, you can just visit them or plan a little get together to reminisce old memories. However, amid the ongoing fear of novel coronavirus, the best you can do is take care of them and celebrate the day by cooking their favourite meals or by just watching their favourite movie together.

Neymar scored the winning goal in the finals of the French Cup
Neymar scored the winning goal in the finals of the French Cup, where Paris Saint-German won the title. The win against Saint-Etienne 1-0 is now the most remarkable title win in French Cup. However, coach Thomas Tuchel faced an anxious wait for the complete fitness of Kylian Mbappe ahead of next month’s Champions League quarter-final against Atlanta.
The French star was later seen emerging from the tunnel on the crutches following a dreadful challenge which resulted in the dismissal of Saint-Etienne captain Loic Perrin.
“Everyone is worried. Everyone who saw the foul is worried. Of course, I’m worried, but at the same time, I’m happy as well. I’m very happy because we won but we have to stay patient because we don’t have any news. I think he will undergo tests tonight,” said the coach Tuchel.
PSG dominance in the tournament
PSG won the first of a potential three trophies this summer, they claimed 13th French Cup with League Cup final against Lyon to come next Friday before the resumption of their European campaign in Portugal.
