RBSE: 12th commerce Results likely to be out at 11:15, today.

Jaipur: The results of the 12th commerce class of Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education will be released today. Board President D.P. Jarauli will issue from the board office. Along with the results of 12th science, now the results of commerce are also coming today.

Rajasthan Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra announced the date of the declaration of the RBSE 12th result 2020 on Sunday in a tweet that said, “Rajasthan Board class 12 Commerce result 2020 will be announced on July 13 at 11:15am”. Once the results are released, students can check their Rajasthan Board results at the websites.

As per a report, the RBSE Class 12 examinations began on 5 March. The exams were scheduled to end on 3 April but were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown. The examinations for the pending papers were held from 18 to 30 June.

Apart from this, Rajasthan Board had recently released the result of 12th Science Stream. In this exam, Yash Sharma topped the exam with 95.60 percent marks. Yash had scored 495 out of 500. At the same time, 91.66% of the total candidates were successful this year. Among them, 94.9 percent girls and 90.61 percent students have been successful.

Russia: World’s first COVID-19 vaccine, successfully completes clinical trials.

Chief researcher Elena Smolyarchuk told a Russian news outlet on Sunday, July 12, Sechenov University researchers have successfully completed clinical trials of the world’s first COVID-19 vaccine on volunteers.

“The research has been completed and it proved that the vaccine is safe. The volunteers will be discharged on July 15 and July 20,” Smolyarchuk was quoted as saying in the report.

The university began clinical trials of the vaccine produced by Russia’s Gamalei Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology on June 18.

According to Lukashev, further development plan for the vaccine is already determined by the developer’s strategy, including the complexity of the epidemiological situation with the virus and the possibility of scaling up production. 

“Sechenov University in a pandemic situation acted not only as an educational institution but also as a scientific and technological research center that is able to participate in the creation of such important and complex products as drugs … We worked with this vaccine, starting with preclinical studies and protocol development, and clinical trials are currently underway,” Tarasov noted.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organisation had last month announced that Oxford’s vaccine was most advanced. It is expected to bed rolled out soon as AstraZeneca by Oxford is in the third phase of clinical trials.

More than a hundred vaccines against the novel coronavirus are currently under development or trials, globally. The coronavirus has infected more than 12 million people around the world, till now.

Supreme Court grants permission for Summons via Whatsapp.

Court summons and notices can be sent via email, fax and instant messaging applications like WhatsApp amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Supreme Court said on Friday.

A bench headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde observed that it has been brought to the notice of the court that it is not feasible to visit post offices for service of notices, summons, and pleadings. The bench also comprising Justices A S Bopanna and R Subhash Reddy observed that notice.

Allowing this, the Supreme Court said that along with this, notices / summons should be sent through the mail on the same day. Two blue ticks will ensure that the receiver has seen the notice. However, it clarified that a party would have to prove valid service using the methods of summons and notice.

However, Venugopal expressed reservation about service through Whatsapp. “Since the messenger service claims that it is end-to-end encrypted, it would be difficult to prove legitimate service of summons/notices sent through Whatsapp,” he said. But, the CJI said, “If the sent notice/summons in message form reflects two blue ticks, then it would constitute as valid service.”

This is a significant move since the top court has already been hearing cases through video conferencing since March and this is another important step towards digitalisation of the judicial procedures at the apex court.

A bench led by Chief Justice SA Bobde took on record, a consolidated reply filed on behalf of the Union of India detailing its stand on several IA’s with regard to limitations pertaining to Section 29A & 23(4)of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Section 12A of the Commercial Courts Act, 2015, Service of all notices, summons and exchanges of pleadings, Clarifications with regard to the earlier March 23 order & Extension of Limitation under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

Senior Advocate V Giri, representing RBI, stated that it had decided not to extend the limitation period under the provision as of now.

When Attorney General Venugopal urged the Bench to use the phrase “namely WhatsApp” to specify the messaging apps in its order, the Bench refused, stating it would not commit the mistake that was done when a company name like ‘Xerox’ replaced the word “photo copying”.

Big B has been shifted to the Nanavati hospital in Mumbai after being Corona positive on Saturday. He was brought to the hospital after complaining of breathing problems.

Amitabh was symptomatic and was self isolating before taken to hospital.

He was admitted to the hospital around 10 pm .

Big B Tweeted, ”T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !”.

Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan wrote on Twitter that he has been trying to call Nanavati hospital, but has received no response, “Dear Amitabh ji, I join the whole nation in wishing you a quick recovery! After all, you are the idol of millions in this country, an iconic superstar! We will all take good care of you. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!,” Harsh Vardhan wrote on Twitter.”

”Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. Boeing delivers Apache, Chinook helicopters to India.

On Friday Boeing said that it has completed the delivery of 22 new AH64E Apache and 15 chinook military helicopters to IAF.

In September 2015 the Ministry of Defence has finalized a deal with Boeing for production, training and support of 22 AH-64E Apache and 15 CH-47F Chinook helicopters. The deal was worth USD 3 billion.

Now with this delivery of helicopter will increase IAF firepower also it’s logistical and capabilities.

Notably, both Apache and Chinook helicopter was pressed into service during India China face-off. Even Sukhoi fighter jets patrolled the skies too.

“With this delivery of military helicopters, we continue to nurture this partnership and are fully committed to working closely with the Indian defence forces to deliver the right value and capabilities to meet their operational needs,” Surendra Ahuja, Managing Director, Boeing Defence India, said.

“Customer centricity, commitment to the modernization and mission-readiness of India’s defence forces are key values to our partnership with India,” Ahuja added.

Boeing works with over 200 suppliers and partners in the country in support of “Make in India” and “Skill India”, the statement added.

US warns citizens about detention risk in China.

On Saturday the US state department warned American citizens to “exercise increased caution” in China due to risks of arbitrary law enforcement and detention and ban from exiting the country.

The alert comes as tensions over the new Hong Kong security law. And allegations of Human rights violation against Xinjiang in China.

Recipient of National Film Award and a Film fare Award Monali Thakur has hit back at trolls who called her a gold digger. Monali married Maik Richter, a Switzerland-based restaurateur, in 2017, though she made the news public only last month. 

While replying to trolls, Monali also recalled vignettes from her wedding ceremony on Instagram.

Universities will use artificial intelligence for admission process.

Private University are working out on the academic calendar admission procedure. While the central and state universities awaiting for UGC ( University grants Commission) guidelines.

The admission process has now fully shifted online mostly through artificial intelligence proctored entrance test.

And private universities will also conduct live interviews.

Classes are likely to start from August. And on the basis of covid-19 situation, the universities will for the decide the classes will be online or offline.

Also the university will cross-check students class 12 scores.

“It will become India’s first and only law entrance exam to be entirely online, AI-enabled remote-proctored,” said an official.

Rupamanjari Ghosh, vice-chancellor of Shiv Nadar, said, “We are committed to ensuring that students continue their education without interruption during these difficult times.

Nandkumar Dhake vice president of Bennett University said “If they have class 12 scores, they can secure admission with PCM ( physics, chemistry and mathematics) scores. Even if there are students with no board exam results and they come to us with pre board exam scores, we will provide them provisionals admissions with our 60% eligibility criteria”‘.

Ashoka University has decided to conduct orientation day on August 24. While the classes will begin from August 31.
“Classes will be online till mid semester break, which begins on October 10. The decision on holding online of physical classes will be taken closer at that time”, said Ashoka University spokesperson.

Supreme court refuses to interfere in plea waive off against private school fees.

On Friday Supreme court refused to entertain plea made against private school fees during pandemic as parent’s are facing financial crisis .

SA Bobde says that problems of each state is different and the matter should first raise in their respective Highcourt.

The plea was by parents of students from different states of India .
They want the court to ask centre and state to instruct private schools to only charge some amount of fees.

Chief Justice of India says,”It would be a stroke of genius if you can solve everybody’s problems. Problems of each state are different. It’s a situation where facts of all states must be considered individually. We don’t know how to solve the issue for the whole country, and that’s what you’ve prayed for. Whether it is release of prisoners, migrant workers, petitioners are moving this Court and feeling depraved that we are not giving the kind of relief sought. Why as a jurisdictional court can you not approach the High Court first?”.

A bench comprising Chief Justice SA Bobde, AS Bopanna & R. Subash Reddy stated that the bench was not inclined to entertain the plea and would not want to go into merits of the issue and that the Petitioner may approach the High Courts of respective states.

“You have filed a plea for the whole country. It is a problem for us as we do not know who would take a decision for the whole country. Problems in each state are different,” the bench told the petitioner.

Before Vikas Dubey encounter police stopped vehicles.

On Friday UP Police declared Gangster Vikas Dubey had been killed in an encounter.

Vikas who had been arrested in Ujjain on Thursday . Vikas allegedly killed eight Policemen in Kanpur and he was charged for over 61 criminal cases . And after five day of run he was finally arrested by Madhya Pradesh Police. And just day after arrest he was killed in encounter .

During travelling to UP, police van met with an accident and overturned. According to police he tried to snatch a pistol from an injured police man. And in retaliation police fired upon him. Further he immediately admitted to hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Just some minutes before encounter the police had suddenly stopped and restricted movement of vehicles including press while some reporters claim.

Assistant Superintendent of Police, Kanpur, Dr Anil Kumar said a police team consisting of officials from UP’s Special Task Force (STF) and Kanpur police were bringing Dubey on a transit remand to Kanpur. The incident took place at around 7 am between Jhansi and Kanpur.

“My camera person and I were just inches behind the car in which Dubey was travelling. Suddenly, we were all stopped by the police and our cars were checked. The police out of the blue began asking for our identity cards and details of our media houses. There were about half a dozen media vehicles following the police movement since late last night.”

“When we tried to film the situation, they stopped us from doing so. Apart from the barricades, there were also a few trucks that were parked almost in the middle of road,” the journalist said.

“I do not understand why mediapersons were chasing the police convoy,” the ADG said. “If any investigating agency or institution ask us about these things, we will answer. Also, there will be a magisterial inquiry (into the alleged encounter),” he said

    India China: Total disengagement for restoration.

    Foreign ministry officials of India and China met through video-conference on Friday and decided to follow through with steps for “complete disengagement” of troops in eastern Ladakh for “full restoration” of peace and tranquillity along the Line of Actual Control.

    This was the 16th meeting of the Working Mechanism for Consultation & Coordination on India-China Border Affairs (WMCC) in which it was “reaffirmed that both sides will ensure complete disengagement of the troops along the LAC and de-escalation from India-China border areas for full restoration of peace and tranquillity”.

    As Chinese troops continued to withdraw from Pangong Tso in eastern Ladakh, the two countries held another round of diplomatic talks, and decided that senior commanders of the two armies will meet soon to discuss further steps to ensure complete disengagement and de-escalation in a timely manner.

    Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Friday briefed his American counterpart Mark Esper on the latest developments in the over two-month troop confrontation with China, which has seen India deploy US-origin weapon systems like Apache attack helicopters and M-777 howitzers in eastern Ladakh.

    Though there was no official word on the telephonic talk between the two ministers, sources said bilateral defence ties as well as the regional security situation in face of an aggressive China in the entire Indo-Pacific region featured in the discussion.

    The ITBP, which along with the Army is responsible for patrolling the 3,488 km LAC, is now expected to get additional responsibilities as part of the new plan being prepared to prevent face-to-face contact between the two armies after the Galwan clash.

    The conversation between the Special Representatives,India’s NSA Ajit Doval and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, on Sunday, which led to the announcement, has given hostilities a necessary pause. While the statements made in New Delhi and Beijing were not identical in language, they largely conveyed a consensus to restore peace and tranquillity at the LAC. 

    Amazon walks back employee TikTok ban, saying it was sent by mistake.

    Amazon has said an email sent to employees asking them to remove the video-sharing app TikTok from any mobile device that can access their company email was sent in error.

    The first message was dramatic enough, as the email directive to employees appeared to buttress recent scrutiny of TikTok security issues from governments in the U.S. and India.

    Then, the second message, in which a spokesman called the email an error, backed away from what briefly appeared to be a major policy change. It was a rare instance in which such a shift played out in public for one of the world’s most valuable and closely watched companies.

    In a statement sent later on Friday, company spokeswoman Kristin Brown said, “There is no change to our policies right now with regard to TikTok.”

    Amazon is the second-largest US private employer after Walmart, with with more than 840,000 employees worldwide.

    TikTok said the company had not received any communication from Amazon before the email went out.

    “We still do not understand their concerns, we welcome a dialogue so we can address any issues they may have and enable their team to continue participating in our community,” TikTok said.

    Tiktok is owned by Beijing-based company ByteDance, and has faced questions over privacy and security for its connections to China. Earlier this week, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the U.S. is “looking at” possibly banning TikTok.

    A US national-security agency has been reviewing ByteDance’s purchase of TikTok’s precursor, Musicaly, while US military branches banned the app from government-issued phones. Meanwhile, privacy groups say TikTok has been violating children’s privacy, even after the Federal Trade Commission fined the company in 2019, for collecting personal information from children without their parents’ consent.

    Last month, a researcher uncovered that TikTok had the ability to siphon off anything a user copied to a clipboard on a smartphone — passwords, photos and other sensitive data like Social Security numbers, emails and texts. The researcher began posting the findings on the online message board Reddit.

    TikTok was banned in India in June, and two Republican senators in March introduced a bill to ban federal employees using the app on government-issued phones.

    PM Modi inaugurated Asia’s largest solar plant.

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated the 750 MW (megawatt) 
    solar project set up at Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa via video-conferencing. The project comprises three solar generating units — 250 MW each — located on a 500-hectare plot inside a solar park.

    The Solar Park is a Joint Venture Company between the Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL), a Joint Venture Company of Madhya Pradesh UrjaVikas Nigam Limited (MPUVN), and Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), a Central Public Sector Undertaking. Central Financial Assistance of Rs. 138 crore has been provided to RUMSL for the development of the Park.

    With Solar plant at Rewa the industries here will not only get electricity, but even the metro rail in Delhi will get its benefits. The project exemplifies India’s commitment to attain the target of 175 GW of installed renewable energy capacity by 2022.

    The Project comprises of three solar generating units of 250 MW each located on a 500-hectare plot of land situated inside a solar park (total area 1500 hectare).

    Apart from Rewa, work is underway on Solar Power Plant in Shajapur, Neemuch and chhatarpur, Modi said dedicating the 750 M solar project to the nation.

    The Rewa Solar Project is the first in India to break the grid parity barrier. It is expected to reduce carbon emission equivalent to 15 lakh ton of CO2 per year. World Bank Group President has also awarded the project for innovation and excellence and was included in the Prime Minister’s “A Book of Innovation: New Beginnings”.

    PM Modi said that solar energy will be a medium of energy needs of the 21st century because solar power is pure and secure.
