80 more special trains will run on the track from 12 September


Amid Corona crisis, the Indian Railways has announced a big relief to the people. On Saturday, the railway announced that it will run 80 new special trains from September 12. Ticket booking will start from 10 September. Railway Board Chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav said that these 40 pairs ie 80 special trains will be run in addition to the already running 230 trains.


Humsafar Express running from Delhi to Gorakhpur, Nanda Devi Express running from Kota to Dehradun, Vikramshila Express going from Delhi to Bhagalpur, Lucknow-Delhi Shatabdi Express, Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express, Mysore-Solapur Gol Gumbaj Express in the list of those trains Which will run on the track from 12 September.

The Railways is currently running only 230 special trains. To stop the spread of Corona infection in the country, the Railways stopped operating passenger trains, mail and express trains from 22 March. The railways started Shramik Special trains from May 1 to bring the migrant laborers to their destination. After this, Rajdhani special trains were started from May 12. So from June 1, 100 pairs of trains were run. In this way, 230 trains are currently being operated.
