Amazon to offer generative AI product reviews feature, all you need to know

Amazon AI generated review: Amazon has launched a new tool that summarises product reviews for mobile buyers using Artificial Intelligence(AI). The company stated in June that it was testing the AI-powered summarisation tool, and the actual rollout begins now.

What is Amazon AI generated review?

The AI-generated summary is a short paragraph that emphasises the most prevalent and suitable elements of the customer reviews, including the product's features, performance, quality and satisfaction. Clickable tags that display the frequency and mood of particular keywords in the reviews are also included in the summary. To access the full reviews that reference a tag, customers can touch on it.

It can block fake reviews

The customers which have only verified purchase reviews are included in the new feature. Machine learning models are used to identify and prevent fraudulent reviews. The corporation asserts that, it actively blocked over 200 million suspected false reviews in the last year. In order to maintain the integrity of its review system, it hires human investigators.

A written review to help customers, says Director of Community Shopping

"The new AI-powered feature provides a short paragraph right on the product detail page that highlights the product features and customer sentiment frequently mentioned across written reviews to help customers determine at a glance whether a product is right for them," said Vaughn Schermerhorn, Director, Community Shopping at Amazon.
