From the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme to farmer empowerment initiatives, Dhanda has been seen openly appreciating the state government’s efforts to improve public welfare and strengthen grassroots development. He has described Punjab’s health insurance scheme as a “revolution in the healthcare sector,” noting that Punjab has emerged as the first state in India to provide health cover of up to ₹10 lakh to every citizen.

Dhanda has also frequently cited Aam Aadmi Clinics as a landmark achievement, calling them a major step toward accessible and affordable healthcare, especially for people in rural and semi-urban areas. According to him, these clinics have significantly eased the burden on government hospitals while ensuring timely treatment for common ailments.

Dhanda has often referred to such measures as genuine efforts

In the agriculture sector, Anurag Dhanda has praised the Punjab government for timely compensation to farmers, particularly during natural disasters. He pointed out that when flood-affected farmers were compensated within 30 days, the move set a strong example of responsive and farmer-centric governance. Dhanda has often referred to such measures as genuine efforts toward farmer empowerment.

Beyond health and agriculture, Dhanda has credited the Mann government for visible improvements in road connectivity and the changing landscape of rural Punjab. He has linked the development of infrastructure and improved village amenities to what he describes as “clear intent and effective policy execution” by the state leadership.

Calling Punjab’s governance approach a model for other states, Anurag Dhanda has urged governments across India to study and replicate Punjab’s initiatives, particularly in healthcare delivery, rural transformation, and agricultural reforms. His consistent praise reflects growing confidence within the party that Punjab’s policy framework can serve as a benchmark for people-centric governance.
