Anurag Dhanda raises serious questions over rising pollution in NCR, holds government accountable
According to a recent review by the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA), all ten of the most polluted cities in India — based on PM2.5 concentration levels — fall within the NCR. The list includes Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Hapur, Ballabhgarh, and Dharuhera.
Dhanda shared this data through his official social media handle, taking a sharp dig at the ruling parties with a post that read, “BJP = Bahut Zyada Pollution.” His remark was seen as a direct attack on both the Central government and the Delhi administration for their alleged negligence in addressing the pollution issue.
AAP leader emphasized that despite repeated promises
The AAP leader emphasized that despite repeated promises, air quality continues to worsen every winter, exposing the public to severe health risks. He accused the authorities of turning a blind eye to industrial emissions, stubble burning, and vehicular pollution that collectively contribute to the crisis.
As Delhi once again finds itself blanketed in toxic smog, the issue of pollution has returned to the forefront of political discourse. Anurag Dhanda and the Aam Aadmi Party have intensified their criticism, demanding immediate and effective measures to safeguard public health and ensure accountability at both state and central levels.
