Assam HSLC Result 2025: 'Please Remain Patient,' CM Himanta Biswa Sarma's Advice, Shares Latest Update

Some media reports speculated that Assam's HSLC 2025 results would be declared on April 10, causing confusion. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma clarified on April 9 that the results are not releasing yet and urged students to wait for official updates from SEBA.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has officially clarified that the HSLC (Class 10) 2025 results will not be released on April 10. Earlier some news articles speculated that result may come oon 10th of April. CM in his tweet made it clear that once results will be ready the board will announce them. He also asked parents to remain patient.

In his tweet, the Chief Minister wrote:

"I would like to inform all parents and students that the HSLC examination results will not be released tomorrow. Once the results are ready, the board will announce them promptly. Please remain patient."

This message was important to help students avoid unnecessary stress and stop believing rumours spread through WhatsApp or social media.

Media Buzz Sparks Confusion Among Students

Before the CM’s post, some articles claiming that the HSLC results could be announced on April 10 at 10 AM went viral. Though they appeared official, there was no confirmation from the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA). The buzz triggered widespread confusion among students and parents, as it even directed users to check the SEBA website. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s timely clarification helped calm the situation and reminded everyone to wait for an official update.

How to View Assam HSLC Result 2025 (Once Released)

Once the results are officially announced by SEBA, students can check their scores by following these steps:

  1. Go to site.sebaonline.org
  2. Click on the ‘HSLC Result 2025’ link
  3. Enter your roll number, registration number, and exam session
  4. Click on Submit
  5. Your marks will appear on the screen

You can also check results on  SEBA mobile app (for Android).

How to Download Assam HSLC Result Marksheet

After checking your result, here’s how to download your marksheet:

  1. On the result page, click on the ‘Download’ or ‘Print’ option
  2. Save the resultas a PDF file on your device
  3. Take a printout for future use like admission or verification
  4. The official marksheet and certificate will be provided later by your school
