Bhagwant Mann Govt Intensifies Anti-Drug Drive as Punjab Police Arrest 95 Smugglers on Day 421

Continuing its aggressive campaign against drug trafficking, Punjab Police under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has made significant progress on Day 421 of the ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’ campaign across Punjab.

Bhagwant Mann: Major Crackdown Across the State

Police teams conducted extensive raids at multiple locations, leading to the arrest of 95 drug smugglers. Authorities also recovered 6.8 kg of heroin and 306 intoxicant tablets/capsules, indicating the scale of ongoing illegal activities.

Continued Focus on Rehabilitation

In addition to enforcement, officials persuaded 29 individuals to undergo de-addiction and rehabilitation treatment, highlighting a balanced approach that combines strict action with social reform.

Rising Numbers in Anti-Drug Campaign

With the latest action, the total number of drug smugglers arrested since the launch of the campaign has reached 60,898, reflecting the sustained intensity of the drive.
