Punjab Police, in coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), has continued its statewide campaign against organised crime under the ongoing ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ initiative.

On Day 186 of the campaign, police teams carried out 583 targeted raids at identified locations across Punjab as part of a coordinated effort to dismantle gangster networks operating in the state.

According to the official update, the operation led to the arrest of 353 individuals, including 13 proclaimed offenders. During the raids, police also recovered three weapons.
Conducts 583 Raids
With the latest action, the total number of arrests made since the launch of the anti-gangster campaign has risen to 52,895, reflecting the sustained enforcement drive against organised criminal activities across the state.
Punjab Police reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring public safety by taking firm action against gangster networks.
The department has also appealed to citizens to support the campaign by sharing information anonymously through its Anti-Gangster Helpline (93946-93946).
