Eligibility for the scheme includes families from below the poverty line (BPL) and Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, or Other Backward Classes (OBC). Additionally, the bride must be at least 18 years old, aligning with the government’s efforts to promote education and prevent child marriage.
