CM Yogi Adityanath to Flag Off 87 Interceptor Vehicles in Lucknow to Strengthen UP Police

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath will flag off 87 interceptor vehicles equipped with modern technology in Lucknow as part of efforts to strengthen the state’s policing and road-safety enforcement infrastructure.

According to the Chief Minister’s announcement, the fleet includes both four-wheelers and two-wheelers equipped with advanced equipment.

The new interceptor vehicles are being introduced with the aim of supporting a more capable and modern policing system.

Yogi Adityanath said an efficient and technology-enabled police force is an important foundation for maintaining public safety in the state.

Police Personnel to Receive Medals

The Lucknow programme will also include a medal ceremony for police personnel being recognised for outstanding service.

The Chief Minister extended his advance congratulations to the personnel who will receive the medals and praised the wider Uttar Pradesh Police family for its service and dedication.

Book on Police Reforms to Be Released

A book titled ‘Sangharsh’, based on police reforms, will also be released during the event.

The programme will therefore combine the induction of modern policing equipment with recognition of police personnel and discussion of reforms within the force.

Yogi Adityanath said the government is working towards a policing system that is capable, sensitive and modern.
