Haryana News: Nayab Singh Saini Announces 100 New Ayushman Arogya Mandirs And Health Sub-Centres! Would This Bring A Healthcare Revolution In The Northern State?

Haryana News: Nayab Singh Saini, the Chief Minister of Haryana, has announced that 100 new Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and health sub-centres would be established in the state.

Saini remarked that antenatal, postnatal and vaccination care of pregnant women as well as comprehensive monitoring of all non-communicable and communicable diseases would be carried out at these centres.

Saini also proposed that a revolutionary initiative with an allocation of Rs. 100 crore would be launched soon. This would help in strengthening fire-fighting systems in sub-divisional hospitals, district hospitals and community health centres in the state of Haryana for preventing any form of untoward incident.

In 2026-27, the Haryana CM proposed to offer HPV vaccine to more than three lakh girls in the state so cervical cancer could be prevented among girls who have attained the age of 14 years.

NIROGI Haryana Scheme

The Haryana CM also remarked that all citizens over the age of 7 years in the state would be offered free blood testing facilities, under the NIROGI Haryana Scheme.

Saini also remarked that 1000 elderly caregivers would be trained so home-based care as well as basic medical assistance to senior citizens could be provided to all needy people.

Under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, public hospitals in the state of Haryana treated 2.94 lakh patients at a cost of Rs. 160 crore in the financial year 2024-25 while 4.29 lakh patients were treated during 2025-26 at a cost of Rs. 299 crore.

Saini added his target is to double the count of patients who could avail treatment in the state’s public hospitals under the Ayushman scheme. Saini also proposed the construction of a building for AYUSH Education, research and training at a cost of Rs. 135 crore in Shri Krishna Ayush University.

The Haryana CM also announced that a workplace safety fund at a cost of Rs. 5 crore would be established so that workforce participation by the state’s women could be promoted.
