Honda ZRV: Popular Japanese automaker Honda is getting ready to battle with the Hyundai Creta, Mahindra XUV700, KIA Seltos, Tata Harrier, and MG Aster KIA Seltos in the Indian market with its new midsize SUV, the Honda ZRV (Honda ZR-V). Last year, Honda also released this SUV in the global market, and now efforts are being made to import it to India.

The hybrid technology:

According to published sources, Honda’s forthcoming SUV, the ZR-V, may also have a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine, both of which are capable of producing up to 121 BHP of power and 145 Nm of torque. Both a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic transmission are available for the Honda ZR-V. Additionally, Honda can offer mild and hybrid engine options for this SUV. In fact, by releasing hybrid SUVs recently, Maruti Suzuki and Toyota sparked fear in the market.
