According to News18, the website, which was valued at an astonishing Rs 200 crore, had 2.5 billion impressions, 420 million page views each month, and 120 million unique monthly users.

How WittyFeed's Resilience Led to the Birth of STAGE App

On November 26, 2018, difficulty hit when the WittyFeed Facebook page disappeared, sending the business into a financial crisis. By 2019, funding had run out and closure was a real possibility. Vinay, though, resisted giving in to hopelessness. Vinay Singhal demonstrated unwavering dedication by paying his staff for three months despite enormous obstacles. His perseverance paid off when the concept for the STAGE app was born. A committed team of 54 people worked tirelessly to launch the STAGE app on November 1, 2019, fueled by his team's unrelenting support. According to News18, the company is currently valued at more than Rs 300 crore.

India's Homegrown OTT Platform Pioneering Regional Language Content and Music

The same year, Vinay, Shashank, and Praveen set out to develop an exclusive OTT platform specifically designed for the Indian market, analogous to Netflix. Enter STAGE, an OTT platform that supports various regional languages and promotes musicians. With more than two million downloads and more than one lakh paying subscribers, STAGE has established itself as a major player in the hyperlocal video entertainment market. The path of Vinay Singhal is proof of the tenacious nature of entrepreneurship. Although WittyFeed gave them reputation in the market, creating an OTT platform from scratch required a lot of work and perseverance.
