Mahindra XUV800: An electric SUV that has a great mileage, details here

Mahindra XUV800: Mahindra will unveil its Born Electric line of electric vehicles concept in the United Kingdom on August 15, where they have already teased numerous times. Up to five electric vehicle concepts will be unveiled by the domestic SUV expert, and they are crucial to the brand’s next array of zero-emission passenger SUVs.

According to a new internet rumour, one of the upcoming five models will be the XUV700’s almost-production-ready electric vehicle. Internally known as W610, it might use the XUV800 brand and borrow extensively from the XUV700’s successful design for its exterior. It is suspected to have the same 2.75 m wheelbase and body panels.

Based on XUV300:

The final shape of the roofline will have to be anticipated. It is anticipated that the next electric SUV’s front and rear will differ, and it will be built using the same architecture as an electric skateboard. Mahindra’s XUV800 could follow a year after the XUV400 tiny electric SUV (based on the XUV300), which is expected to debut later this year or in early 2023.

But it will be the first SUV to be supported by a specific EV platform. We may anticipate it to have greater overall proportions compared to the IC-engined XUV700 because the architecture enables an optimised cabin with a roomy interior and level floor. It is more likely to have ADAS-based functionalities and the most recent Adrenox connection.

Features:

The interior is thought to have a more upscale feel thanks to the lack of physical buttons. There is a good chance the vehicle will have a huge touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, a wireless charging pad, a large panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, motorised seats, a 360-degree camera system, and other features.

Volkswagen’s MEB electric platform will supply the Mahindra XUV800 with battery cells and electric motors. The prismatic cells from VW’s factory in Germany will be imported. The battery pack and battery management system, among other essential parts, are anticipated to be sourced from Mahindra’s manufacturing facility in Chakan, Maharashtra.

With several battery options and a stated maximum driving distance of more than 500 km on a single charge, it might also be made available with a dual electric motor layout that drives all four wheels.
