Mohan Yadav government airlifts infant with heart disease to Bengaluru under PM Shri Air Ambulance Service

Officials said the PM Shri Air Ambulance Service is aimed at providing rapid medical transport for critically ill patients requiring specialized treatment

Mohan Yadav: A five-month-old infant suffering from a congenital heart disease was airlifted from Madhya Pradesh to Bengaluru for advanced medical treatment under the ‘PM Shri Air Ambulance Service,’ officials said.

According to information shared by the Madhya Pradesh government, the child, Yatharth Singh Ranawat from Sanoriya in Ujjain district, was transported from Indore to Narayana Hospital for specialized treatment.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said the child’s treatment would be provided free of cost under the Ayushman Niramay Yojana. He prayed for the infant’s speedy recovery and said every citizen’s life is precious.

Mohan Yadav stated that the government remains committed to saving lives and ensuring that citizens receive timely medical assistance, especially in critical health situations.

Officials said the PM Shri Air Ambulance Service is aimed at providing rapid medical transport for critically ill patients requiring specialized treatment outside their home districts or states.

Support under Ayushman scheme

The treatment expenses for the infant will reportedly be covered under the Ayushman Niramay health scheme, which provides financial assistance for eligible patients requiring advanced healthcare services.
