On the other hand, on the death anniversary of Babasaheb in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, such posters have been pasted by Indu Makkal Katchi on which there can be a dispute. However, Arjun Sampath, the founder of Indu Makkal Katchi, said about these posters that Ambedkar is a national leader.

The poster of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar put up by Indu Makkal Katchi in Kumbakonam area of ​​the state depicts Babasaheb wearing saffron clothes.

“Such religious fanatics who portrayed Ambedkar with a saffron shirt and holy ash on his forehead should be arrested immediately,” Thirumavalavan wrote.

Arjun Sampath, a leader of the Hindu Makkal Katchi, said that “Thirumavalavan has his own views, but Ambedkar was a saffron lover as he embraced Buddhism, of which saffron is the symbol. He tried to establish Thiruvalluvar and Vallalar as non-Hindus. We saffronised Ambedkar to create awareness against Thirumavalavan trying to Periyarise Ambedkar”.

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was born on day 14 in 1891 in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. He was the fourteenth child of his parents Bhimabai Sakpal and Ramji. Sakpal was his surname and Ambavade was the name of his village. To escape the socio-economic discrimination and abuse of the upper classes of the society, he changed his surname from “Sakpal” to “Ambedkar” with the help of a Brahmin teacher. Apart from being a great scholar, Dr BR Ambedkar was also a lawyer and freedom fighter. He changed the face of Buddhism in India by converting to Buddhism along with hundreds of thousands of Mahar untouchable caste.

Dr. Ambedkar’s conversion was a symbolic protest against the oppression of caste inequality. Ambedkar experienced caste discrimination since childhood. After retirement from the Indian Army, Bhimrao’s father settled in Satara, Maharashtra. Bhimrao was admitted to the local school. Where he had to sit on the floor in a corner of the class and the teachers would not even touch his notebooks. Despite all the difficulties, Bhimrao continued his studies and in 1908 passed the matriculation examination from Bombay University with good marks.

In 1913, Bhimrao Ambedkar lost his father. In the same year, the Maharaja of Baroda awarded Bhimrao Ambedkar a scholarship and sent him to America for further studies. In September 1920, having accumulated enough money, Ambedkar went back to London to complete his studies. He became a barrister and obtained a doctorate in science. When India became independent in 1947, the country’s first prime minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, invited Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, who had been elected as a member of the Constituent Assembly from Bengal, to join his cabinet as law minister.
