PV maxi-scooter: Unveiled at EICMA 2022, this EV has all the ingredients to challenge the best in the market, all you need to know

PV maxi-scooter: The PV maxi-scooter, the newest electric two-wheeler model from QJ Motor, has been presented. Here are some of the features of the QJ Motor e-scooter, which was presented at EICMA 2022.

The QJ Motor PV is dressed appropriately for a maxi-scooter. It has a single, roomy seat, a large handlebar, a tall transparent visor up front, and a central spine. With cornering lights built into the side panels up front, the PV gets a split, very aggressive LED headlight.

Battery and charging

A lithium-ion battery is connected to a 10kW (peak output) motor that powers the PV electric scooter. Although the size of the battery has not yet been made public, QJ claims that the PV can travel 150 kilometres on a single charge and has a top speed of 130 km/h. For an 80% charge, the charging time is five and a half hours. On the feature front, it has LED lighting, a fully digital instrument panel, ABS, and an adjustable visor.

Breaks and wheels

The PV e-scooter is equipped with telescopic front forks, dual rear shocks, and ABS brakes on both the front and rear discs. Alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli Angel tyres support the arrangement.

Other vehicles

Although QJ Motor has announced its presence in India, there is little possibility that the PV electric scooter would arrive in this country any time soon. The Ola S1 series, Ather 450, Bajaj Chetak, and more options are available if you want an EV. The Yamaha Aerox 155 and Keeway Vieste 300 are the only petrol models of maxi-scooters currently available for purchase in India.
