Tata Nexon: This SUV Is Giving A Tough Competition To Brezza, All You Need To Know Before Buying One

Tata Nexon: Tata Motors has once again weakened Maruti Suzuki's dominance in the SUV market, and after two months, the Tata Nexon is once again the best-selling SUV in India. According to the October 2022 auto sales data, Tata Nexon outsold Maruti Brezza by a significant margin.

The Brezza fell to number 10 in October of last year after being among the top 5 vehicles in August and September. Nexon has also made a remarkable recovery and has reclaimed the title of top-selling SUV by ranking among the top 5 best-selling vehicles.

Increasing sales

According to the October 2022 SUV sales report, Tata Nexon sold a total of 13,767 cars, representing a 36% yearly increase. Tata Nexon sold 10,096 units in October 2021. Tata Nexon sold 14,518 units in September 2022, which is a decline in monthly sales.

However, just 9,941 Maruti Suzuki Brezzas were sold in the most recent month, which was October, representing a year-over-year increase of 24%. Although 15,445 units of the Brezza were sold in September, monthly sales have decreased significantly, falling to less than 10,000 in October.

Variants and price

The Tata Nexon is offered in India in trim levels including XE, XM, XM (S), XM+ (S), XZ+, XZ+ (HS), XZ+ (L), and XZ+ (P). K has been released in 67 different colour and variation combinations, with costs ranging from Rs 7.60 lakh to Rs 14.08 lakh (ex-showroom). Both gasoline and diesel engines, as well as manual and automatic transmissions, are available for the Nexon.

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza has also been released in a total of 11 variations with 4 trim levels, including LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+, with pricing ranging from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 13.96 lakh (ex-showroom).
