Sri Lanka’s Visa-Free Entry for Indian Travelers

Sri Lanka and Thailand are among the nations that have instituted or maintained tourist-friendly policies for visitors from India. On May 6, the Sri Lankan government declared that certain nations, including India, would now be able to enter the country without a visa until May 31 of this year. According to Mint, travelers from Russia, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, India, and Japan are permitted 30 days of visa-free entry into Sri Lanka.

However, travelers from the aforementioned nations must use the official website, www.srilankaevisa.lkstay, to apply for a visa online prior to their arrival in Sri Lanka. Recently, Thailand announced an extension of its visa-exempt program for travelers from Taiwan and India for an additional six months. As per the latest regulations, travelers from Taiwan and India are now permitted entry into Thailand without a visa up until November 11 of this year. For visitors from Taiwan and India, the free visa is valid for 30 days.

Visa-Free Entry to Iran for Indian Passport Holders

Since February 4 of this year, Indian passport holders have been able to enter Iran without a visa once every six months for a maximum of 15 days for touristic purposes. The Islamic Republic of Iran’s government made the announcement.

Indian visitors to Kenya are allowed entry without a visa; however, before departing, they must obtain an electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) by registering on the Immigration and Citizen Services portal, according to Mint.

Malaysia’s Visa-Free Entry for Visitors from China and India

The new regulations, which went into effect on December 1, allow visitors from China and India to enter Malaysia for up to 30 days without a visa. It is crucial to remember that these visa-free policies are only applicable to visitors who fly into these nations.
