Weather Update: Heavy Rainfall engulfs central India; Monsoon to continue for next few days

Weather Update: India's coastal and central regions will likely face heavy rainfall for the next 48 hours. The Southwest monsoon has been progressing rapidly and is covering more and more areas with each passing day.

Several areas of Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Prades, Uttrakhand, and other states faced heavy or very heavy rainfall in the past 24 hours. And according to the metrological department, the trend will also continue in the upcoming days.

Delhi

Heavy rainfall stuck Delhi and neighboring cities like Gurgaon, Noida, and Ghaziabad. IMD has stated that the rain Delhi is experiencing is Pre-monsoon rather than monsoon, and monsoon will arrive in Delhi in the coming days. The temperature will be between 32 degrees and 27 degrees with clouds.

Mumbai

Mumbai is likely to receive very heavy rainfall in the coming days. IMD has issued a warning for the coastal regions of Mumbai. The temperature will see a massive dip as the highest predicted temperature for tomorrow is 28 degrees, with going as low as 27 degrees.

Chennai

IMD has issued a fresh warning for several cities in South India, including Chennai. The weather department has issued rainfall and thunderstorm warning for the next few hours. The temperature will be between 36 degrees to 28 degrees.

Kolkata

Kolkata will also experience a dip in the temperature as the weather will be pleasant. Signs of moderate rainfall are there, with the sky being always filled with clouds. The temperature will be between 29 degrees to 27 degrees.
