Weather Update: IMD forecasts rainfall for East Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand (Ranchi) on February 13, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh on February 13, Bihar on February 13 and 14, and Gangetic West Bengal on February 14. The precipitation will be accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds. According to IMD's official announcement, Central India is expected to see thunderstorm activity and rainfall until February 13. The morning weather forecast for Delhi NCR on the day of Farmer Protest calls for mist, and low and high temperatures of about 8 and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively. Over the next five and three days, respectively, IMD predicts a modest rise in minimum temperatures over Northwest and East India of 2-4°C.
IMD forecasts a high probability of dense fog in sporadic areas over Odisha. On February 13, cold wave conditions are predicted just in some parts of Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan. It is highly possible that a squally wind, blowing up to 65 kmph, would prevail over the Gulf of Mannar, the Comorin area, and the Southeast Bay of Bengal that borders the South Andaman Sea.
