The Congress party members were seen holding or wearing white T-shirts with images of US President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a gesture of dissent.
However, scenes got ugly when all of them removed their T-shirts and staged a shirtless protest, bringing national and global shame to the country.
Piyush Goyal remarked this is the arrogance and frustration of the Congress party on display.
Reaction Of Prominent Personalities
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh remarked the shameful manner in which Youth Congress workers created a ruckus at the venue by indulging in inappropriate behaviour is not only unfortunate but also an attempt to tarnish India’s reputation on the international stage.
Amit Malviya, the In-charge of BJP’s National Information & Technology Department, said such theatrics on an international stage only damage India’s image and undermine the very platform meant to showcase the country’s technological leadership. Malviya remarked political disagreements are part of democracy but embarrassing India before the world is not.

Prominent personality Kumar Vishwas remarked on X that this naked protest against the country’s Prime Minister is, in reality, a naked display of the opposition’s complete lack of issues on an international platform where the country is fully focused on proving its technological strength in front of the world’s most distinguished guests. Vishwas added it’s truly sad that a party as old and ideologically mature as Congress has fallen into such a severe famine of issues.
