Zinedine Zidane to take over as Brazil’s football? Football Board considers him a strong contender

Zinedine Zidane: France’s Zinedine Zidane could be named the new coach of Brazil’s national football team. According to reports, the Brazilian Football Board believes Zidane, 50, is the best candidate for his team. Brazil currently does not have a coach. Tite resigned as coach following a poor showing in the World Cup. Zidane was the manager of Real Madrid in Spain.

As a coach, Zidane has led Real Madrid to three Champions League victories. Casemiro and Vinicius Junior of Brazil have appeared for Real Madrid. Zidane was a member of the French national team that won the World Cup in 1998. He scored two goals in the final to help his team defeat Brazil 3-0.

Brazil was unable to travel until the semi-finals.

Brazil did not even make it to the FIFA World Cup semi-finals. Croatia was defeated 4-2 on penalties in the quarter-finals. Both teams failed to score a goal within the time limit. The game then went into extra time. Both teams scored one goal apiece. Brazil’s Neymar Jr scored in the 106th minute. Bruno Petkovic scored for Croatia 11 minutes later in the 117th minute of the match, bringing both teams to an equal score.
Penalties were imposed as a result of the outcome. Both teams won penalty shootouts 4-4. Croatia scored all four penalty goals, while Brazil missed two to exit the World Cup.
