Asia Cup 2023 Squad: Finally, the Indian Asia Cup 2023 Squad has been announced and there are lots of things to look forward to. For the first time in a very long time, Indian fans have something to look forward to.

Indian fans were promised at least one surprise in the squad, and they were not let down as the squad consisted of multiple surprises. The main surprise was Yuzevendra Chahal being dropped from the team.

We will also see multiple ODI debuts as Tilak Varma and Prasidh Krishna were involved in the squad. Another good news came as both KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer were involved in the squad as well.

After lots of speculation, KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer have finally returned to the Indian squad. Even though many experts still have doubts regarding their fitness, the Indian board thinks both of them as important figures.

India has involved two wicket-keepers with Sanju Samson as the backup. Rohit Sharma stated that his team needs flexibility. He further states that every batsman can bat anywhere and there is no fixed position and this team is capable of that.

Yuzevendra Chahal being dropped is a surprise but Kuldeep Yadav retained his spot alongside Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja as the spinners. Praisdh Krishna, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, and Mohammad Siraj will lead the pace line-up.
