Aus Vs Eng Ashes 2023: James Anderson Replaces Ollie Robinson; Major Shift Ahead? Read Here

Aus Vs Eng Ashes 2023

England has announced its squad ahead of fourth Aus Vs Eng Ashes 2023 test with a major change in the playing XI. Read Here.

Aus Vs Eng Ashes 2023: England won the third Ashes test in a dramatic fashion and kept the series alive. And if they want to remain in the series, they have to win the next match at all costs.

And they are ready to do that at any cost. Headingley’s win has given them enough confidence and clearance in squad selection. There were still some dodgy decisions like the selection of Jonny Bairstow again after an abysmal performance in the series so far.

But considering everything, England is even more stern in their Bazball approach. They will attack Australia even more intensely and that is why they have decided to drop one of their regular players from the squad.

Anderson Replacing Robinson

Another player that has been really abysmal this whole series is Ollie Robinson. The medium pacer has not taken many wickets and was on the end of some really harsh remarks by many ex-cricketers.

And it looks like he will be dropped and considering everything it looks like the right decision. James Anderson who was dropped for the Headingley match has been called up again for the playing XI.

Another reason why Robinson has been dropped is because he suffered a back spasm at Headingley. And was only able to bowl 11 overs in the first inning and did not bowl at all in the second.

Aus Vs Eng Ashes 2023: England Playing XI

Just like in previous matches, England announced its squad a few days prior to the match. This match will be a series decided as if England loses, Australia will retain the series for continuous the third time.
