Aus Vs Eng Ashes 2023: There is no way that we can get a simple Ashes match without any controversy. Every Ashes 2023 match so far has been barred with controversies and the final match was nothing different.

We are just on the first day of the final test match and Ricky Ponting has been left fuming over an act of utter disrespect by English fans. Even the Australian supporters are left fuming after the act.

Australian fans questioned the 'Spirit of the game' that English fans and media have brought over so many times in this series. Also, Ponting has stated that he will get revenge on the person who did that.

The instance happened at the end of the first day's play. As Todd Murphy was ready to come out as night watchman, Ian Ward, and Punter took his interview. They wanted to know what Murphy thought about the situation.

That is when a grape flew out of the crowd and hit the former Australian captain. The World Cup winner was far from impressed and was left fuming over this act of utter disrespect. He looked at the crowd with rage in his eyes.

"I've just been hit by a grape. I wouldn't mind finding out who that was actually." stating that whoever did it will be facing his wrath. Ian tried to calm the situation with a light joke but the Aussie was not impressed.

Murphy stated that it is a scary situation when a bowler has to go out as a night watchman. He wants to get involved in the match with his bowling, not by his batting. Thankfully, Australia lost only 1 wicket and Todd was not called out to bat.
