AUS VS NED ICC ODI World Cup 2023: Super David Warner Dazzles The Crowd With Another Century! All Over For Netherlands? Watch Here

David Warner was once again brilliant against Netherlands and scored his second century of the World Cup. He has put the Aussies in a strong position and has put Netherlands out of competition.

AUS VS NED ICC ODI World Cup 2023: David Warner is in excellent form right now. He was on fire in the last match and was in the limelight once again. After all, not every batsman can write back-to-back World Cup centuries on his resume.

Warner is one of the best batsmen in the world and he just keeps on proving that with each match. The Aussies had a shaky start as Mitchell Marsh was dismissed fairly early in the match.

But both David Warner and Steve Smith were up for the task and punished every Holland bowler after that. Warner was looking in his prime touch as he was dispatching every bowler towards the boundary.

Warner Shines In AUS VS NED ICC ODI World Cup 2023

The left-handed batsman completed his century in just 90 deliveries and hit 11 boundaries and 3 sixes in the process. It was classic Warner-style batting where he made use of every part of the field.

He got a lifeline early in the innings when the Netherlands missed a golden opportunity of a runout. He made sure that he would pounce on that mistake and make sure that the Netherlands realized what they had done.

This innings involved some brilliant shots and amazing partnerships with Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne to get Australia out of a fairly tough start. Warner now has 6 World Cup centuries, only 1 behind Rohit Sharma who is leading that chart. If he continues this form, he might even leave the Hitman behind.

Australia In Strong Position

There were four players who scored 50+ runs for the Aussies. After Warner’s classic knock, Maxwell storm put the Netherlands completely out of the match. The Aussies are looking strong in the match after they finished their innings on 399/8, giving the Oranges a target of 400 runs.
