AUS vs SA: South Africa was a unbeatable team whenever they used to play at home. Very few teams were able to penetrate the fortress they used to make at every stadium in their own country.
But Australian team has gone their to knock this new South African team out of the park. After whitewashing the T20 series by 3-0, they won the first ODI match as well. It was a close match, but in the end, the Aussies prevailed.
The Kangaroos’ batting line up failed during the first match and Marnus Labushagne had to play a heroic inning to save the match. But it looks like that Aussies were prepare to reprimand all the mistakes of the first match.

People were laughing when Adam Zampa picked Travis Head as the top run getter in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. But after today’s display that prediction does not look delusional but rather achievable.
From the very first delivery, Head was out for blood. He showed everyone why he is considered as one of the most dangerous batsman in white ball format. He opened the innings for the Aussies and scored a half century in just 26 deliveries.
Shamsi got the wicket of Head but by then the damage was done. As Head walked back to pavillion after scoring 64 runs in just 36 deliveries, a record was already broken in this AUS vs SA match. David Warner also scored a sensible half century.

Australia became the first team in the world to score 100 runs in ODI Power Play in South Africa. No other team has been able to achieve this feat in South Africa. A fortress has been penetrated and the Aussies have done it in absolute style.
