Babar Azam: Star Pakistan batsman practices side-by-side with King Kohli at Gabba ahead of IND vs PAK | Watch Video

Babar Azam: At the Gabba, Virat Kohli and Babar Azam, two of the finest hitters in the modern era, were seen working out in different nets. The T20 World Cup 2022 warm-up matches have already begun, and India was able to defeat Australia thanks to Mohammed Shami’s heroics in the last over. In the game, Kohli had a fluid 19 off 13 innings, which included one four and a six.

For the exhibition game against England, though, Babar and Mohammad Rizwan were both rested. While Shan Masood and Haider Ali were given opportunities at the top, the team’s batting and bowling appeared completely disorganised after an agonising loss to England. If Pakistan is to take home the big ICC trophy, a lot will depend on Babar’s performance at the top.

Returning to the video, Kohli was delighted to middle the ball in the nets and attacked the short ball with a combative stance. Babar was throwing down in the other nets, and the Pakistani batsman did gaze towards Kohli when the latter was batting. The game between India and Pakistan on October 23 will feature an exciting duel to watch out for between the two, who have so far had a respectable friendship.

While all was going on, Virat Kohli made an incredible one-handed catch in the warm-up game that stunned the crowd and received a tonne of attention online. Additionally, he displayed excellent fielding skills in the circle and sent Tim David, a dangerous batter, back by hitting the stumps with a direct throw.

Babar is anticipated to return to the field for their upcoming exhibition match against Afghanistan, and his presence will undoubtedly improve the batting, which lacked bite against England.
