Suryakumar Yadav: Star Indian batsman not in the ‘mood’ to play? Gets out because “Mann nahi ho rha” | Watch Video

Suryakumar Yadav: The star Indian batsman, SKY, once again showed excellent form by scoring a half-century against Australia in the first T20 World Cup warm-up game on Monday in Brisbane. With a six-run victory against the defending T20 World Champions, Suryakumar’s 50 off 33 balls helped India to 186/7, a total that was just about enough as they warmed up for the Super 12s, which begin on Saturday.

Along with India’s opener KL Rahul, Suryakumar was one of the two half-centurions. The reason that India was able to reach the 180-run mark was made possible because Suryakumar made sure to bat through the final over of the Indian innings.

Suryakumar Yadav ‘s statement has now taken the Internet by storm

Suryakumar unexpectedly lost a peculiar dismissal when he toe-edged a full toss to the leg-side and gave it straight back to Kane Richardson. Nevertheless, a video of Suryakumar mouthing a few things before throwing his wicket away became popular on social media more so than his dismissal. Watch Video:

The stump microphone caught Suryakumar stating to his batting partner Axar Patel, “Maarne ka mood hi nahi ho raha yaar,” (I’m simply not in the mood to be hitting today, dude), on the delivery before he was out, the fourth ball of the 20th over, in a video that was posted on Twitter.

After hammering a four towards extra cover to reach his half-century, Suryakumar really lost his life on the very next ball. Even though Suryakumar achieved a crucial half-century, it should be noted that his innings was exceptional for an Indian No. 4 since he hit the ball at a 151 strike rate. Suryakumar often has a much greater strike rate.

Suryakumar also struck 52 against Western Australia in India’s first practise match of the tour, adding to his fifty-six yesterday after skipping the second WA practise match. He is anticipated to return to play for a second T20 World Cup warm-up game against New Zealand on Wednesday before India’s opening match against Pakistan at the storied Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday.
