History Maker Najmul

Najmul Hossain Shanto made history when he scored centuries in both innings of the test match. He joined the very elite list of very few batsmen who have done this task. He was the 91st batsman to achieve this feat and was only the second Bangladesh player.

Najmul showed amazing batting skills and took Afghanistan’s bowling line-up by scoring 146 and 124 in both innings, respectively. He became the second Bangladesh batsman after Mominul Haque to achieve this feat, who did it back in 2018 against Sri Lanka.

Stormy Pacers

Not only batting, Bangladesh’s bowling line-up completely annihilated Afghanistan’s batting lineup. They bowled out Afghanistan on 146 in the first inning and just 115 in the second inning.

Shoriful Islam and Ebadot Hossain took five wickets each in the match, while Taskin Ahmed got four Afghanistan Batsmen in the second inning. Afghanistan was outplayed, and you could have seen the fatigue in the players in the fourth innings.
